Lately, i've found myself not making a lot of sense to other people when posting a reply.

I make perfect sense to myself, and i know what i want to say, but after i'm finished with a reply and send it off to where ever it goes, i think back, and realize people might not get what i was trying to say.

Does this happen with anyone else?

Yes frequently.
Although just recently i havent made a lot of sense to myself either.
When you type it makes sense in your head when you read it back it sounds completely different.

It happens to me daily.

Yeah. If you don't agree with what I say, I throw lizards at you.

Why lizards? Why not some other small, gross creature?

I always make sense to myself.  Yet, because I hate typing and am lazy along with the fact I loathe long stories I don't always explain myself in detail.  Therefore looking like I am not making sense at times.

I mean what I say, it's just getting others to take it in the way in which I said it.  I have written things that were meant in the most non-snotty way..yet people have taken it that way.  Or worse...when you mean something more "tongue in cheek" and it gets all blown out of proportion.

I guess what we all type just makes logical sense to us, but to someone else..nothing.

I think this was one of those posts again... nevermind.

Good Evening littleone,

I think we all have had that happen. I read and re-read my replies before hitting "OK", but even then sometimes it comes across in the wrong manner. It is so difficult to portray tone of voice when writing which makes things all the more difficult.

*Oh and Kedikat, love the poem. Perfect for this post
