Your team must be the Hawks.

It will be what it will be this year. I was with them when it was 8-8 every goddamn year. After 25 years of rooting for a character building team, I got to sit in a bar full of fans for the other side, and 12 my ass off for the Superbowl.

In other news, I understand there is a tornado watch in Dallas, and residents are being advised to go to the Cowboy's stadium - no chance of a touchdown there. [8D]

I was a Seahawks fan when they were a new franchise team in '76 and they regularly wowed their fans with trick plays, but not much more than that most years

Through thick and thin, mostly thin. Watched as other Seahawks fans drifted away, too. In this area, many switched over to pulling for the Denver Broncos when they were hot (which helped make last seasons Superbowl especially sweet)

Saw them live in '12 vs. the Rams in Seattle, and they won that game. I love that city, and visit often

Plan on watching them live vs. the 49ers this season either in Seattle or at San Francisco

Yeah, last year was a very good year and I will be there regardless of how they do this season, and the next, and so on

Nice how things have changed so much in the Pete Carroll era

GOOD bears!

DarkSteven -> RE: SeaHawks (9/15/2014 9:29:22 AM)

Yeah. I'm a Broncos fan, and not happy.

The Broncos have played fantastically during the first halves of both games, and sucked during the second halves. Both times, they almost gave away huge first half leads, and blocked last gasp tying touchdowns at the end.

It's not supposed to be like that. The Broncos are supposed to be trained to play at altitude, and have the other team sucking wind in the second half. I expect it's lack of conditioning.

That, and stupid penalties. Malik Johnson hitting Alex Smith well after he'd thrown the ball, keeping the Chiefs's drive alive at 3 and 13. Whoever committed the penalty at the end of the game that nullified an interception. Etc.

Could, might also be that they're missing a certain receiver with the initials "WW". When you lose Peyton's favorite target, that could also be an issue. Juuust putting it out there.

And they have their "QB of the future" missing a meeting because he couldn't understand the time difference?

I'd not go "at least" with the Jets...they are a laughing stock, and rightfully so.

At least my Pats are in the same division and get to play them twice this season. *s*

It wasn't all that long ago when all us older JETS fans used to see the Pattypats on the schedule and mark down two "W"s

Screen captures (and pissing on shadows) still RULE! Ya feel me?

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd rather see sports dialogue than politics on the scroller any day. :D

L8bloomer...not a sports fan
