I have read many posts regarding this issue and have come to the conclusion that...
1.) a hot bath beforehand will help a lot
2.) take some ibuprofen or Motrin beforehand or possibly a drink or two
3.) use numbing/oil supplied with wax product to avoid wax clinging to the skin
4.) hold skin taunt when about to pull off, and pull it off as fast as possible.

what i am wondering is, should i trim the hair down to the 1/4-1/2" range like the packet says to have it around?
i would think, the more hair to grab onto the better, however too much might cause it to not grab the hair near the root and just cause the hair to break instead of remove the entire piece.
I bought the "BRAZILIAN SURGI WAX PRIVATE PARTS HAIR REMOVAL KIT"
is this sufficient to remove male pubic hair in such a way stated above?
any advice is appreciated.
thank you

I haven't done this, but have always wondered why people use wax - because it seems like it would be so painful. Unless painful is the point (which it might be).
I always wondered if something like Nair (you know the foamy stuff you leave on and then wipe off, and all the hair comes with it) might be-

1) Much less painful, and -

2) Less expensive - than wax.

One time, I just used scissors and a razor, but it kept growing back.
Maybe waxing makes the hairlessness last longer?

I have no idea, which is why I myself am wondering.

Crazy thing about Nair... for me... it leaves the hair and takes away the flesh... youch!

I just  use baby oil and shave with a razor.  Unless  this is going to be the scene.. then those who wax would be the better counsel :)

I wondered about that, too, puella. Sure Nair works on your legs, but the skin "down there" can be oh so much more sensitive. Plus, as I recall, Nair smells bad.

I hear you. I am wondering who thought up waxing (maybe a sadistic Dominant? hehe). There's got to be a better way...!

I apologize to the OP - I have never used wax, just hear about it.
I should not have said that since you've already bought it. I really am sorry for shooting my mouth off - but I have always wondered about it. Let us know how it goes?...

You do -not- want to use NAIR or any chemical depilatory around your privates! Trust me, that area is not -skin- it is both skin and mucous membrane -- getting Nair on mucous membrane is -bad-, and the chemical burns take forever to heal!

For men, the skin around the penis and testicles is far too sensitive to use a chemical depilatory on, unless you want to deal with the same issue -- chemical burns.

Stick to razors, wax, or sugaring (there's another cold depilatory that is supposed to be very good, but I can't remember the name... it is very sticky and messy, but it is safe to use around the genitals if you want to make that much of a mess and deal with the 3-4 days of skin sticking together until it manages to get out of all the nooks and crannies).

Waxing isn't so bad really, just expensive.  (And I'm no pain slut!)

Sugaring; there we go (I will have to remember that). Thanks!
Maybe I will try waxing sometime, just to see what it's like.

I have to wonder if anyone is nervy enough to ask for (or professionally offers) laser hair removal for "down there"...(and I can't believe I said that).

I don't see a problem with waxing. The OP seems to have the best method by what I can tell.

For the OP... the only thing I would add when working on a man is to make sure to work in -small- sections, to make sure you are able to pull the skin completely taut before stripping off the wax. Don't use the wax that doesn't need the strips of cloth -- it doesn't catch properly and has to be put on too thickly for genital tissue. Stick to -very- thin, small sections.

Do trim the hair to 1/4 - 1/2". Leaving it long means the wax won't catch properly.

OH... and make sure that the wax is cool enough to go on the inside of your wrist or in between your fingers (in the webbing) before you put it on genital skin. Taking it right out of the warmer and putting it on genital tissue is practically guaranteeing burns. There is a point where the wax is -hot- enough to spread thinly and create a -really- intense heat where it is spread, but -cool- enough that it doesn't burn the sensitive tissue. (One of those things I wish I'd known -before- I did my first genital waxing and nursed blisters for a week!)

Oh, yeah... get the stuff that they have out now to prevent "bumps" and use it faithfully. Ingrown hairs on the genitals are probably the 2nd most uncomfortable thing about waxing or shaving next to burns and cuts.

Sugaring by a professional is the best method by far. It is worth the expense, and they are very proud of it.

Yes... good salons -do- offer genital laser hair removal. Look for ones that openly advertise "Brazilian" laser hair removal. According to my step-sapling (an older teen who spent the last 5 years in Brazil) the only difference between a "Brazilian" lasering and a full genital lasering is, as she put it, "the skunk stripe"... the very center right over the labial lips. Most places will do those as well, IF you are willing to sign a release. A friend of ours took his servant-wife to have hers done that way, and it went well, except for something like a sunburn and some sloughing. The technicians were -very- good, and the pain was easily managed with ibuprofen.

Good to know - thank you, LadiesBladewing.

Thanks- plucking, OMG I have hard time with my eyebrows (but do them anyway). If someone wanted too be really sadistic, that is certainly something they could threaten me with, and I would definitely listen and shake and sweat!
I have to face myself now: I am a big hair removal wuss.

Good luck to the OP - take it easy.

I've been down this line over the years with a number of people both male and female. The one thing I did find is that different products/techniques work differently with different individuals. In the long run it is up to you to choose the best product/technique for you.

Having said that and keeping in mind I have never shaved my pubes and have no intention to do so. (I'd rather the pube get caught in the zip than Big Hairy.) I do have personal preferences for dealing with pubic hair on slaves.

Excerpts from the Bear Pussy Barbour's Hand Book

  1. Girl is just collared and has pubic hair.

  2. Girl is laid on back on table and restraied with legs spread and pussy at edge of table for easier access.

  3. Fire up one pair of electric hair clippers with #1 comb and shear away.

  4. Remove comb and do general clean up The slicing blades do not and can not cut (at least with the ones I have).

  5. Using suitable shaving solution, shaving brush and cut-throat (straight) razor, proceed to finish the clean up by CAREFULLY shaving the entire pubic area. (never nicked a pussy yet).

  6. Release girl and enjoy.

  7. Fast method of clean up when shaving will take too long or you are in a sadistic mood, Grab a large role of gaffer tape and watch her face.

  8. One alternative method with no clipping or shaving is the oldest of all... One pair of suitable tweezers or plyers and its "Pluck a puss, Pluck a puss, Pluck a puss, Pluck a puss!"

Oh lord... Self waxing is just so incredibly painful! go to a professional for gods sake. That will be the least painful by far, and if you like that, then do it yourself.... Yikes!!!!!
