I don't think anyone can tell you honestly that your approach is wrong because it is your approach. You write your profile the way you want to write it in order to attract that person you are interested in, not the one I am or anyone else here. I can also safely say there are twenty somethings that are looking for TPE so your age is not the issue unless you make it one or listen to someone older who convinces you that you are too young.
