Status: offline 		I'm being domestic today because I'm sick and have officially gone stir crazy- I've run across some pet peeves of mine...

I love my guy but...
I HATE how he can't open what should be a resealable box or bag from the correct end. Frozen fruit bags possibly are the top of the list.
I hate how he wants to collect beer caps to make a table out of (our whole relationship I've heard about this table- all I have is several bags of beer caps) but can't put them away and they just end up on the floor for me to step on.
I hate how the dryer takes longer than the washer.

Add to my list so I can procrastinate on doing dishes?

Status: offline 		My domestic pet peeve would be any "Cleaning Event".

I clean everyday, and get real serious on Saturday. When spring cleaning rolls around for me, it just happens to be another Saturday in the spring.

I like domestic speed bumps, not lay overs. I do my laundry on Wednesday and Saturday, more often if I have my mom over for an extended period of time. I don't have a laundry day, I have that moment that it goes in the washer, another moment when it goes out on the line or in the dryer, and that moment I fold it while dinner is minding itself.

When I start preparing dinner I fill the sink and wash as I go. I'm so friggen lazy I'm unbearable to live with... I want to wash my dinner plate and utensils after I eat, and not a sink full of stuff.

I keep everything in its place, although the house is still pretty new to me so I haven't found all the "places" yet, and when I use it, done with it, it goes right back. Although if there is some sicko glutton for punishment maso out there that wants to be punished by a sick cruel and twisted evil bastard, my work shop is a disaster that needs so much work I'm rather hoping a tornado will take it out. But if you're looking to be scarred for life, I do have a job for you.

Status: offline 		My ex wife used to get driven crazy by how my mother would not fully screw jar lids back on before she put them back in the fridge. We had a few "Oops" moments due to that.

I don't UNDERSTAND this. WHY? WHY does anyone do this?

Exiled- we have cleaning events here still- I try to do a bit each day- but with our work schedules being what they are- we both could use some more discipline when it comes to this, admittedly. Lately I've been feeling like a crazy person about it and like I can't get anything done until I've cleaned all the things- so that is probably a good sign I guess.

Status: offline 		I've suddenly decided that I want a messy partner. I shall make no long term decision about any given woman till I've seen her home and reassured myself that she's happy to live in a bit of a pigsty.

I've seen reams of stats trumpeting the fact that women still do more around the house than do men - and this concerns me, not because I think men should do more, but because I think women should do less. Jesus - if it doesn't stink and won't make you ill, and you can find whatever item you're looking for, who cares? Anal and uptight females are a menace to a man's soul, is my view.

I wouldn't go all the way to "hatred" but, we have a very small bathroom and if she leaves the bathroom mirror open (as she was wont to do, for a while), I would hit my head while bending over to lift the toilet seat.

I informed her that the spankings would discontinue until the behavior improved.

I know. Exactly. WHY. It's apparently the most difficult thing in the world to remember to close a g-damn cabinet.

I am an artist and when it comes to my little space, I live in organized chaos. I have no issue with a mess, as long as a person's respective mess is contained to *their area* I don't want other people's crap invading my chaos.

Status: offline 		I have an extremely high tolerance for dirt. Although my apartment is usually "neat"...okay....except maybe the kitchen. But I just limit the mess in the kitchen by not cooking! My favorite foods are anything I can eat with my fingers while I'm standing over the kitchen sink....no dirty dishes!

I think my one and only pet peeve that a partner might do is if they eat in another room besides the kitchen/dining area and leave the dishes in that room. My ex used to take sandwiches and snacks to his office. I only went in there once ever couple of weeks but I always found 4 or 5 days worth of dishes.

But if I was in swifty's place......a large collection of beer caps would "mysteriously" disappear. "Oh...I don't know....they were here the other day...I thought you moved them"

Oh...I just thought of one......leaving a big water puddle in the bathroom after he gets out of the shower. Why can't people dry themselves off before they step out of the shower?

Then the twit tosses the towel on the floor as if it just wiped a monkey's ass. I dunno about you, but I tend to come out of the shower clean.

The reason it is not at hatred status is because you don't question if you're living with a poltergeist. I swear to god, it is every time I go into the kitchen. And we're not talking cracked - we're talking wide open. All. The. Time. It makes me completely insane.
