I'm a restaurant manager. Some new kids this weekend kept trying to stack cups with the mouth facing up. I let them make the mistake and watch all the (thankfully) plastic cups fall to the ground twice before correcting them.

My thing as a kid was markers. there was this one kind the let you link the closed lid of one with the tail end of the other. one time we found enough for about three boxes. I think we managed to bridge the width of the classroom with them, once.

She is lucky she didn't burn her dumb house down. For the record, its supposedly baking soda- but I've fortunately never had to do more than the lid trick.
