And, this is a pro-American President? Or perhaps this is the "new" definition of moderate. The "extreme" Muslim would have called for the beheading of US Troops, whereas this POS "only" calls for their slaughter.

So in this case I'd have to say Sanity is on point. The issue is very clear. Really two issues: (1) Another so-called "moderate" Muslim who is in fact an anti-Semite, a terrorist, a misogynist, a sharia-lover. (2) No way POTUS puts him in a speech at the UN without all names having been vetted. So not only Obama, but also Jarrett, Axelrod, the whole mess of them, absolutely had to know. And they kept the reference. Why?

Bush initiated the "religion of peace" bullshit. Absolutely true. I think he believed that because he's a devout Christian and believes all people are capable of good. Regardless, he was still dead wrong. Huge mistake. Obama has compounded the problem and he is sympatico with the Muslim Brotherhood. It was only recently that one of their higher ups in Homeland Security was forced to resign, finally, after making anti-American tweets. I don't care whether Obama is a Muslim or not -- he supports the Muslim Brotherhood and all his actions are in accord with their objectives and hatred of America.

Bin Bayyah himself has long been engulfed in controversy for many of his views, including the reported backing of a 2004 fatwa that advocated violent resistance against Americans fighting in Iraq.

who also has served as the vice president of a Muslim scholars group founded by a radical Muslim Brotherhood leader who has called “for the death of Jews and Americans,” according to Fox News and other reports.

Additionally, the notorious 2004 fatwa permitting armed resistance against U.S. military personnel in Iraq reportedly stated that “resisting occupation troops” is a “duty” for all Muslims, according to reports about the edict.

The above seem to be the pertinent points pertaining to the whole report.

Seems to me this bloke is basically saying we need to resist occupiers (hardly earth shattering news and just about every person resists an occupying force in their country in one form or other), and according to Fox News 'and others' he's called for the death of Americans.

I don't know much about Fox News but have read the comments on here that they're more than slightly biased. I'll reserve judgement as I've never watched it. But, it seems there's a body of opinion suggesting that Fox News isn't always telling it how it is.

If you read Obama's comments and forget all that bollocks about praising people who want Americans dead, and please tell me you or anyone else doesn't really believe that?, then Obama seems like a pretty reasonable bloke with some sound principles.

You might not agree with his politics, but he seems pretty reasonable to me and not someone who would ever praise someone openly saying they want Americans dead.
