12 Hour Safari is hunt and capture play. At dawn, the prey get an hour head-start and must elude capture for the 12 hour duration. Ideally the game is played in dense terrain, forest or jungle, and the prey pack in food and water for the 12 hours. In a well organized hunt, with many participants, the boundaries of the safari are increased exponentially. The boundaries are marked, they predators and prey stay with in the bounds of the safari.

If the prey is captured, the predator has the remaining hours of the safari to do with the prey what they will. Should the prey evade capture or escape a captor, they are rewarded.

Prey are marked with a ribbon that indicates their level of participation, i.e. the shit they will consent to. Predators are marked similarly, i.e. the shit they will do to you if they catch you. The safari is a free for all, any prey you capture is yours within the allotted time, respective of ribbon.

Basic Equipment:
Predators:
Cell phone (I recommend the vibrate feature)
First aid kit.
Restraints (Rope, chains, cuffs, etc.)
Tools of capture (Lasso, Bolas, etc.)
Dungeon in a bag.
Food and water

Prey:
Cell phone (Please leave your ringer on so I can find you)
First aid kit
Escape tools (Knife, scissors, lock picks)
Tools of evasion (Cloth, cigarettes, baby oil)
Food and water

Now, I'd like to hear from both predator and prey:

Predators:
1. What would be your stalk, hunt, capture method?
2. What sick shit will you do with your captive?
3. What reward will you offer your prey should they evade capture and/or escape until the clock runs out?

Prey:
1. What would your evasion tactics be?
2: What sick shit would you consent to?
3. What reward would motivate you to evade capture?

I'd want to add bicycle clips to the list of kit if I were prey.

I've done this in r/l, and you get so fucking stressed there's a good chance you'll shit yourself.

I've witnessed the bowel-loosening effects of this stuff on 200lb six foot 20 y/olds.

I'd climb up a tree, get myself comfortable in the branches, read the newspaper and when I'd finished would say over my tannoy/loud speaker that could be heard throughout the woods: "now that you've enjoyed yourself having a run around stop fucking about, get here now or else I'm going to fucking kill you".

If the prey gets captured and helps the hunter find more prey...I mean do we get a reward? or is no sick shit the reward?

BASICALLY I want to play both sides of this.
I'm super evasive though. I grew up on the farm and in the woods. My brother is borderline survivalist.

I want more rules. haha
I want the prey to be able to bring an item of choice.
I want the cell phones to not be used except in cases of emergency.
And I want it to be more "capture the flag" or even "Hunger games" but thats cause I think there needs to be a "winner"- winning is a reward, but if there's a whole group of us and I don't get to feel special...that's less motivating.

No I mean when I win.

But I'll just tie all the prey to trees. I didn't realize that was allowed...

The reward is being allowed to what ever is your sick twisted heart to the prey you capture, in the time that remains.

I would think prey getting captured and not being able to escape would be its own reward.

quote:

ORIGINAL: ExiledTyrant

Should the prey evade capture or escape a captor, they are rewarded.
<snip>
Predators:

1. As predator naturally, I'm not knocking myself out hunting down these little kinky suckers.
Maybe flashing a boob, or climbing up a tree blind to strategically tease with a not-so-revealing faux beaver shot should lure one out of hiding.
2. Not telling.
3. ??? They'd be the one losing out on a reward.

quote:

ORIGINAL: thompsonx

Do the rules allow for the prey to prey on the predator?

Why, what would you be trying to induce your Huntress to do to/for you?
If it's not too X-rated to divulge, that is.

This is a fast reply.

I would bake lovely brownies and serve them with handmade ice cream to all of the prey. Once I had them in close, I would spring the traps and win the game.

Bitches love brownies and ice cream.

I'm picturing a large box propped up with a stick that has a string attached to it leading to a nearby clump of bushes. Beneath the box is the aforementioned bait. One question: how are you gonna keep that ice cream from melting?
