ORIGINAL: Sanity Was it or wasn't it his skin color OK, I'll play along... Yes, it was the color of his skin that brought out a few more black voters because, hey, it was a tiny bit of history for this Nation to have someone who wasn't white as President. The rest believed he was more politically sound than the opposition candidate. Oddly enough, each election was not won by a slim margin, but a significant margin. So, what exactly is your point about his skin? No one knew who he was Interesting that you would say no one knew who he was. Have you forgotten that he was a United States Senator before he ran for the Presidency? How do you think he ended up there? Is the US Senate an All white boys club? Who do you think voted for him to become a United States Senator? I think you have just insulted the polity of this great nation. You have also insulted the voters. If the first time was a fluke, then, what about the second time?
