According to the beeb, short men make better husbands [1].

For those Mistresses interested in men folk - do short men make better subs?

Shortness can be defined as either shorter than you, shorter than the average male height (in the US: 69.3 inches / 1.76022 meters / 0.0009504428 nautical miles / 5"7 feet [2] / 2.8875 Panthers [3]) or any other subjective definition you choose to come up with. I like this widespread, and preeminent, yardstick: any male less than 2.7 stacked Panthers in height [4].

If only it were that easy to determine who makes a better sub. [:D] Anecdotally, my long term subs have been short, tall, and in between. [;)]

Ditto that. He's got to be taller than me when I'm wearing 3-4" heels, so that means 5'10"+.

LOL Exiled, whatever would we do without you. Innovation at its finest. I am compromising as far as height goes, but less compromising on level of physical activity/fitness, personal hygiene, health, things like that. I do have those superficial standards we all have that are necessary for attraction. If a guy is 3 inches shorter than me, I'd be less inclined to wear my heels with him out in public, walking around in them is awkward enough but then I'd have to worry about tripping over him. I have the torso of a 5'2 woman yet 5'9 so my brother called me a grasshopper when we were kids.
5'9 and above is quintessential, as long as he doesn't make me feel like the eiffel tower we're golden. Plus a couple inches taller in heels doesn't look as awkward as one would think. Think Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and discount the wacky scientologist part of it. Also I'm very svelte so chances are he'll be a lot bigger than me size wise anyway.

Manko, if I were 3' tall or less, I would make a Leprechaun exception for you. I woud dress in a gorilla suite, forgoing my daily leprechaun attire, and dress you like the empire state building. We'd need an airplane mobile though.

On topic...they may make better husbands but...as with some of the other ladies here, I prefer taller. When they are taller than me, I feel more...submissive...it's the whole "wow he's bigger, he can totally overpower me" thing. Not overpower in an unwelcome unwanted way. Just that...well, hopefully you know what I mean. :)

I am trying to understand what part, if any, stature plays in this context, and the desirability of height characteristics etc., albeit, a little obliquely ;) Whilst a height advantage for a D wouldn't necessarily confer an absolute physical advantage, the impact, or otherwise, of height, psychologically, is interesting to consider. Well, as interesting as anything can be, next to a Panther. Thanks to all for their insights, I am much obliged.

Those are obviously generalizations- no one get defensive.

In my opinion, that shit is just extra- for me its the chemistry and the person, unless there is a major issue- like bedridden...or to that extreme- I'm pretty much going off vibes I get from people.

I think a lot of what people consider attractive in the opposite sex stems from the primal side of things. Women are very biologically driven, and I personally think that wanting a "taller/larger" partner has to do with wanting someone who can protect his mate and family from saber tooth cats. Silly, yes, but probably partially true. We are animals, whether we want to throw up the "we're civilized n shit" smoke screen or not. A duck is a duck.

I have always preferred men taller than I, which isn't that difficult since I am about 5'2 on a good day.

I think better subs make better subs - has nothing to do with height.

When we say short, do we mean like, still taller than us but still short?

I'd say, the one benefit is, stand up sex is very easy with short men than tall men. Their dick is at the right height.

Sometimes standing on a stool to match a man's height is not as fun as being able to just fuck standing up anywhere.
