I think we all behave in different ways around every different person we know. We act one way around grandparents, another around friends, another when it's just you and your SO in the bedroom, another when you're at a PTA meeting, another when you're at a party. It may not be a drastic personality change, but there are little things and behaviors we tweak a bit when we're around others. To some extent we become their expectation of us. Who do I change most drastically around? A certain set of my "friends". They bring out the worst in me, which is why I only see them once or twice a year. Also, I do revert to feeling four years old around my Granny and my Dad. It's not a bad thing, they're just very loving and overprotective. The only person I'm ever 100% myself around is my husband. He's the only one that has ever seen me as my complete self, with no mannerisms or attitudes added.
