I know it already said it before but after this past Election, my decision to become Independent of all political parties become that much easier. I've been a registered Democrat for year's but I am tired of Democrats not taking anything but the Presidential elections serious. I'm not quite sure why Democrats always sit on their hands during Mid-Term elections but enough. Especially here in Florida. Democrats here only come out when the Presidents race is on the line. Otherwise, any other elections, Democrats just sit around and blow bubbles in the air. Republicans once again pulled off a massive landslide victory, just like back in 2010. So, I am certainly done with Democrats but that certainly doesn't mean I am going to switch to being a Republican. I just don't agree with most Conservatives. However, I give Republicans credit for winning the election. If one thing can be said about Republicans, they are far better organized than Democrats are. Since most Republicans pretty much all think alike, they easily flock in line and know who they are voting for. Democrats need to bring together different groups of people, because Democrats are far more diverse. There should be unity in diversity but not just once every 4 years. But every elections. O well, I was a Independent when I first started to vote 8 years ago and that's what I am returning to again. I would rather vote for the person and not some party label. That requires actuality researching the issues and the people running. Not just thinking in black and white thinking. Voting for a person just because a "D" or an "R" is next to their name. There are many shades of grey and other people would could make a difference in the local, state and national elections.
