Looks like Obamas crony leftist bs & policies have been soundly rejected.

He is about as popular right now as dog shit on a new rug...

I wonder if Harry Reid regrets changing the filibuster rules yet?

Maybe a Republican Congress will force some transparency finally.

Harry, now would be a good time to retire. Oops, too late. Already MSNBC is blaming you for obstructing dem senators from working with the other side of the isle, blaming you and your buddy in the WH. Anybody think Clinton will run against a wave of red? I hope so, having the great explainer in the WH again and watching them both be President in a single term will be interesting, a four year reality show worth buying tickets for. But, she's not a fool so I'm thinking no.

I don't know, it seems like when republicans get into power they get squishy and act more like democrats.

It is theirs to pursue real change, if they will.

I like some of the rhetoric but they seem to always disapoint but yeah I agree, if they will.

We should entertain some hope. Rand Paul was just on FOX News, saying "Tonight we told President Obama, YES WE DID BUILD THAT. And tonight we told Hillary, YES BUSINESSES DO CREATE JOBS".

This is a fast reply.

If you think having one party or the other in control of Congress is going to fix things, you don't understand the problem.

I may be mistaken but I seem to recall you saying some pretty bad things about repubs, which would tend to make one believe you favor the dems being in complete control...

on the other hand I can't think of any specific instances soo I may well be mistaken, just seems to me I remember you being quite anti republican

Feel free to quote me anywhere you can find that. I have been critical of both parties.

Critical of Republicans? Someone must be awake?
I detest Democrats, but at least they aren't Republicans.

My only thought about the midterms: "In Democracies, people get the government they deserve."
I'm hoping nobody forgot how we got in the mess Obama wasn't supposed to be able to fix? Opps, too late. Another repressed memory.

While it will likely be the end of the do-nothing Congress, it will still likely be the same overall do-nothing Federal Government as anything Congress sends to the President likely won't be signed into law.

You know what's going to happen, too. The GOP will be blasted for not getting anything passed into law. When it's pointed out that Obama isn't signing what does get passed in Congress, the GOP will be blamed for not passing anything Obama would sign.

The GOP will have to start passing legislation that is popular enough with the entire country to get enough political pressure on Obama and the Democrats to get it signed into law.

Theyll pass popular items such as a bill mandating approval of the Keystone pipeline

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/keystone-approval-sought-republicans-daring-100000720.html

Theyll repeal the individual Obamacare mandate, the corporate mandate... Dare Obama to sink his popularity even lower

And Obama will take the bait. Clinton worked with the Republicans, and things went swimmingly for him when he did

I am predicting that Obama will hunker down though, and double down on his hate rhetoric

Republicans held both the House and the Senate from 2001-2007 and did nothing. In fact they sparked the 2006 Democrat wave with their idiocy about creating a permanent majority -- not to mention bringing back the huge deficits of the Reagan years.

They will spend all their time and all their theatrical doings posturing for position for the 2016 race. That's it.

Oh, and making a LOT of noise doing it.

they have repealed Obamacare around 55 times now, repealing it a few more hundred wont make any difference.

"They" being the Senate, in the form of sending a law to the president to sign?

Come on man, THINK

And they didn't "work with Clinton" -- they sank health care, proposing a problematic approach that Obama made law for them...now they're pissed.

It's actually pretty funny. Sad, but funny.

Lol.

Morning in America, right? Time to quadruple the deficit.

Nothing's different but the tone of talk radio/TV.

What are they going to do different now? Oppose Obama?

This one trick pony has been doing the trick so long it's forgotten there are other tricks.
