Haven't we been told repeatedly that criminals, particularly British criminals, would not harm people with knives?
Are the Brits going to be reduced to plastic utensils?
Maybe strictly liquid diets.

Damned right. Only those Brits who are happy to be slaves have given up their knives. All educated and cultured Brits who have a profound knowledge of their history and love of their freedoms will hold onto their knives to their dying days.

This is why the Queen herself is never to be seen without a machete and practises her death-star skills assiduously by flinging them at the Duke of Edinburgh. Even I never visit my Auntie Agnes for afternoon tea without my claymore.

You dozy shit, cant you read your own fucking link. Thats 800 knives handed in during the amnesty. It may not be perfect but its better than your ideas on gun crime...do nothing. Read some comments from the link you posted.

Since the amnesty began at the end of August, more than 800 knives have been handed in across the county – including swords, machetes and commando knives.

While projects encouraging the surrender of knives are not a single solution to violence, they have an important role to play in inspiring communities to get behind education and preventative measures.
