Imagine that

Instead of gifting them with EBT cards, housing, Obamacare, lawyers, and transportation around the country etc etc etc...

quote:

"People are afraid to go to work," said Annette Martinez, a human rights lawyer documenting the situation with local activists...

"They say 'We are afraid because at any moment the immigration officers will come or their bosses will identify them as foreigners.'"

"In the Bahamas, they treat Haitians like dogs," Youtchike Dormeus, an 18-year-old deportee, said as she got off the plane in Port-au-Prince. The country, which denies treating anyone inhumanely, has deported 3,000 people this year.

Wow

Word of that gets out they might get a handle on their illegal immigrant problem

(The horror)

It's funny to see you on the side of big government, regulations, and stonewalling economic growth & job opportunities.

Sanity -> RE: The Bahamas Treats Illegals Poorly (11/27/2014 9:31:08 AM)

Thats a really pathetic straw man argument

quote:

"The fact is that illegal migration is a huge problem for us," Foreign Minister Fred Mitchell said in a recent interview. "We spend enormous resources for it. It is a drain on our social services, health care and education and we need to get the matter under control."

We dont do that either, what you lied about in the OP.

Sanity -> RE: The Bahamas Treats Illegals Poorly (11/28/2014 8:43:46 AM)

You are ignorant of the kings royal decree then

Which he explained by lecturing about how no voter has the right to speak if we didnt come in the original immigrant wave during the last ice age

Which I suppose that means he believes he can also ignore the Constitution, as the indigenous tribes dont necessarily recognize that document

Following his logic though, his rule must be illegitimate, since his ancestors didnt walk over on the ice bridge

Therefore by his own reasoning King Barry has no standing and really needs to step aside

Lucylastic -> RE: The Bahamas Treats Illegals Poorly (11/28/2014 9:01:21 AM)

well Ive seen a bunch of lies as a basis for arguments before, but this one is making me squeak with laughter.
Man you are a mushroom...or is that fungi.....could even be a toads tool
keep eating the bullshit, but have some shades....the light is bright when you face reality.

Sanity -> RE: The Bahamas Treats Illegals Poorly (11/28/2014 9:12:18 AM)

Its trollish behavior to try to make posters the topic

That being said, here is an interesting juxtaposition

Obama: The only people with the right to object to immigration are Native Americans

In other words, Barack says that voters and the republic can go to hell, the only thing to be considered is what the original native people want

Okay?

Now, with that in mind, check this out:

quote:

Black lawmakers against recognition of Va. tribe

WASHINGTON (AP) — Several members of the Congressional Black Caucus are urging the Obama administration to withhold federal recognition of a Virginia Indian tribe because of its history of banning intermarriage with blacks...

What do you think our new king will do...

There is a queen in England, a kings royal decree is unknown to anyone.

You supposing anything is a hallucination. As always, spew factless asswipe, because there is no real ideas there.

If you had anything to debate, I wouldnt need to pulll you up on your lies and bullshit.
But alas nothing you have said is worthy of anything but disdain and humour...
you get a failing grade, as usual.....f-, must try harder....

Speaking of England

By King Baracks royal reasoning (which negates the voters, Congress, and rule of law itself) only the original English have the right to be in England

All the Muslims etc need to get out, and they should certainly have no voice in running the place

mnottertail -> RE: The Bahamas Treats Illegals Poorly (11/28/2014 9:35:27 AM)

It must be hard to live with such hallucinations constantly.

enslaver -> RE: The Bahamas Treats Illegals Poorly (11/28/2014 9:44:40 AM)

King Barack needs to be impeached to learn the rule of law, his use of executive orders to bypass Congress is way out of line.

cloudboy -> RE: The Bahamas Treats Illegals Poorly (11/28/2014 9:45:32 AM)

I'm shocked that he would not support a long tradition of immigration, growth, and opportunity in favor of regulations, rules, deportations, and splitting up families.

This is big, inefficient government -- and he seems to be all for it. What do the Catholics, Chamber of Commerce, Cato Institute, Eric Cantor, Ronald Reagan, the Evangelicals, GWB, Jeb Bush, Koch Brothers, and libertarians know? Not much, according to him. Not much at all.

If he did actually say: "the only people with the right to object to immigration are native Americans", and I'm cautious in granting you this because it seems so idiotic that surely he could not have said that, then for the first time in my time on this board; and it's been a while, you actually have a point.

Except no one knows who the "original English" are, so on that basis we're all fucked.

Lucylastic -> RE: The Bahamas Treats Illegals Poorly (11/28/2014 10:05:32 AM)

what he actually said (from his first link)
Returning to his hometown to speak, the president tried to place his recent executive action, which saved five million immigrants from deportation, within a great American tradition of welcoming foreigners.

"If you look at the history of immigration in this country, each successive wave there have been periods where the folks who were already here have said, 'Well I don't want those folks,'" he said. "Even though the only people who have the right to say that are some Native Americans."
His orders were sufficient in upsetting the GOP, but he also faced criticism from immigration activists who feel they do not go far enough.

Hecklers shouted "Not one more!" and "Stop deportations!" and "There is no justice!" during the speech, to which he replied at one point: "It doesn’t make much sense to yell at me right now."

Ploughing on, he argued: "Part of what America is about is stitching together folks from different backgrounds and different faiths and different ethnicities. That's what makes us special and, look, let's face it, sometimes that's hard to do, but it's worthwhile, it's worth doing.

oh and there is video too

Well, I think he's fucked up there then, because it's a really base, childish argument.

All countries have an immigration policy, or at least we would in the event we weren't held over the coals by the European Union.

It is expedient to manage your resources/public services/government income/whatever you want to call it, in line with the amount of people in your country. Nothing to do with racism, or prejudice, it's merely a pragmatic, rational course of action; and an appeal to a few hundred years ago is not much of a counter.

In a Constitutional sense, one of the very few legitimate roles of the federal government is border defense

The states never intended for the federal government to get the poor (especially minorities) hooked on government handouts for the benefit of one particular political party, or to micromanage a rancher in Utah, or to implement and manage practically any other such "progressive" ideals

And its another straw man argument on your part to suggest that I or anyone else is against orderly, legal immigration as decided indirectly in our Republican system of government by the voters in our former nation of laws

Thank you for the backup lucy, but I had already posted that information

Lucylastic -> RE: The Bahamas Treats Illegals Poorly (11/28/2014 10:32:13 AM)

yes but your lack of context says so much
