ORIGINAL: MartianMan9 Should male subs/slaves have to tribute to serve in a FLR? If they should have to tribute, I think that male Doms with female subs should have to do the same. I mean, after all, women are women, right?? Wouldn't that depend on whether this was a dom/sub thing or a man/woman thing? I had the impression it was the former. Either way, I can't see a male Dom demanding tribute going over well. Some Doms already do but they use different language to reflect their entitlement. Some take control of the sub's time and that has financial consequences. Some take control of the wages of the sub or take control of the decision to work, or where to work or for how many hours... each choice affects the finances of the submissive. So, a Domme may require a tribute which is a gift, while a Dom may require that the financial risk have potentially life-long repercussions. Same dif. Just one uses soft language while another uses entitlement language. Even if a sub never exchanges money with a Dom, by agreeing to use their time, focus and energy to support the Dom's vision, that costs the sub money they could have earned if they had expended all of that time on themselves. Fair enough. But in many cases this goes over about as well as a femdom demanding tribute from male subs who wish to talk to her. But I'll admit my perspective is different from those who are honestly receptive to this sort of thing. I do still notice a difference, in that I see far fewer femsubs complaining about how Doms are all out to control their money and ladybits. Usually the ones who do (and I'm judging from posts on here and Fet) had sub frenzy come into play somehow and just jumped in with both feet before they realized what the implications were. Is it that femsubs are generally more receptive to being controlled in this way, or that it's less likely to surface until a serious relationship is established?
