I would agree with you but we didn't need to go that far. All we needed to do was send in the CIA, then an OPS teams and then and only if needed...the marines for extraction. Done deal.
I am of the firm belief that both Afghan. and Iraq were wars for hegemony and profits.
Some will say and I don't disagree...to start to remake the ME first into a chaos and then later, into our image even though circa the 1950's...they already were.

There isn't even deliberation going on. Things are being claimed to be rights, without any actual definition of what a right is. There can be no deliberations.
