I am completely compliant but I make a big old song and dance about pretending not to be. I beg, I cry, I tell him it hurts and please stop. I say no and sometimes I make a show of trying to fight him off. He absolutely loves it, much more so than if I passively and gratefully accepted his actions. It's not my natural style, I'm more the compliant type, but he loves it so I see it as part of the service I give him. Of course, I'm not really trying to make him stop (if I was, I would win) so there's a foundation of compliance to it all, but with a frosting of rebellious role play to make it sweeter for him. If I thought he preferred the compliant type I would do that instead. It's all about maximising his pleasure, so it doesn't really matter how I feel about it. Is that more or less submissive? I dunno. I'm more of a masochist but his enjoyment in bed is 100% my focus.

Ok, I know...I'm making a thread actually about kink...shocker!

In play- not D/s- do you prefer some resistance? a bit of a fight back? Or do you prefer compliance?

Most people I've been with have been into a bit of resistance.

As a sub, do you prefer to resist or do you quietly get into bondage?

I don't have very many specific questions, because I'm mostly interested in different views of this. To me, submissive implies less fight more compliance, but I could be way off base.

Oddly enough... and this is something that never actually occurred to me... I have never done any resistance play. All the sluts I have put in restraints have gone, by command, into them. I must think about whether or not I want some resistance, however, I must be careful, my slut bruises very easily because of medication, and I do not wish to harm her.

Anyone have suggestions of how to work resistance into our play safely? Just curious.

I was married to a girl who bruised easily. There was never any BDSM play but, while she was punching me, if I grabbed her arm, there would be immediate black-and-blue marks (and believe me, you; she played it to the hilt).

I guess my best suggestion, in a case like this wouldn't really be resistance play but defiance? I know it's not the same thing, really but there is that element of her, saying: "No".

It depends on his mood. Usually I'm spot on, sometimes I miss the mark. A certain look from him and I know when to stop.
It's something I really enjoy.

Usually starts with me teasing and taunting him in some way, as if he can't have me. It's like flirting with a twist.
Yeah, I know I'm going to lose every time. But, I'm stubborn. I can be pretty tricky and get out of certain holds. When he's had enough, he'll usually pin me by sitting on my chest and arms or twist a nipple until I comply. I know it amuses him watching me try to break free of a hold I can't get out, which will make me fight even harder.

He switches it up. Sometimes, he'll just let me wear myself out then goes in for the "kill". Other times, he'll do something that makes me melt and want to comply - can be anything from as simple as passionate kisses on my neck to spanking.

I'm more into compliance. Why fight something I am into? Now, if I'm told to do something I am not into, I might resist a little but I usually comply in the end. Now, if a Domme told me to go jump off a bridge, I think its clear I would deny that request real easy.

We play the catch me if you can. I'm faster, wiggly, etc. But he is a huge man, 330 lbs, 6'6"- I stand no realistic chance, so all that resistance is short lived on my part. And as soon as he has me pinned down, to the victor goes the spoils.

Actually, in such situations I feel that I, as loser, get the spoils. Which is how it should be, win/win situations.

Depends on who i'm with. If i am with my Master i am compliant. If it's just a play partner, i may get a little more resistant. Although i would someday like to be a little resistant to my Master so that he can physically overpower me.

I'm compliant when people want what I'm already doing.... as soon as they try to make me change I tend to do the opposite. Depends on their intent, if it's an honest request and they aren't trying to "win" something, I just do it unless it's something i really don't want to. The second someone labels something as a battle I get in a "well you'll have to catch me first" mood.... and they aren't likely to get what they want. Sex is different, I'm pretty often resistant... not so much anymore, it doesn't matter how big they are... I win if if want to badly enough, I usually just give a taste of how difficult I can make it then ask "do you want some help now"....that either results in them sulking off grumpily, laughing, or hitting me. The second person ends up getting some.
