ORIGINAL: iwillsurrnder Try reading the replies, honey. I posted this to see what Doms had to say...not subs, anyway! If I wanted your opinion I would have posted in ask a sub... Your opinion can be kept to yourself! Of course you did and of course you posted it here just to hear from Doms. I'm afraid some do not respect your desire and somehow try and make you feel wrong in suggesting they respect your wishes. Somehow they feel you should hear their opinion even if you obviously don't want it. There is a legitimate reason for wanting answers from a targeted audience, but since they don't respect you, then perhaps you should simpy not reply to them. Let them post and you focus on those you want to read because that is your right. Everyone, especially intelligent adults, always has the option of listening only to the answers they want to hear. But if you don't want to be exposed to everyone's opinion, perhaps don't shout your question to the world at large? In spite of the title of the forum, it is public and open to everyone. Your post, Arturas, was not a direct answer to the original question. Should you be admonished for that? After all... the OP's hissy fit that you are responding to is not a question, but a statement... and the name of the forum is ASK a master... making it clear - if you want to be literal - that only questions and answers are permitted. ;-) I don't post in Ask the Gardener or Ask the Engineer or Ask the Social Science Professor boards/threads/whatever either, despite what access I have technically have, because it's clear to me I'm not being addressed, and can happily read while those in the capacities asked about explain their perspective. If someone says in a conversation "Hmmm....so what about a female view on this," I don't then offer "the female" view just because I'm able to speak. It's a matter of self-control and respect, not a "I can do whatever I want" matter, in my view.
