Thanks for playing. We have some nice consolation prizes. See Vanna on your way out.

You kept talking about unspecified laws that would prevent something like this and would prevent her from having a gun in her purse. Apparently that was just smoke and mirrors.

So you keep saying. Then I tell you what they are. Then you say the same thing again.

Have you had a head injury?

You have given no law that would have kept her from carrying the gun in her purse. I'd ask if you had a head injury but clearly there is nothing there to injure.
Neither fixing flaws in guns nor any amount of training would have done that.

1) I've said it repeatedly. Are you really this much of an asshat?

2) Nothing prevents everything. Mom's dead. She ain't coming back. But now that we know the problem, future events can be prevented. Not all, but some.

Are done being a dick now? What the fuck have you been arguing for pages if there's no problem?

Never mind. Just...go. Glad we're done.

You're the asshat. You clearly stated you wanted additional safeties for all guns in one of your posts and implied all sorts of things in others. I couldn't figure out exactly what you were talking about either so I asked questions too. Now I see you've watered down your position to *fix the design flaw on the gun in question*. All us gun nuts can pretty much agree on that.

Now you specifically state we should "investigate training effectiveness and re-evaluate." That would pretty much fall under *enhancing educational and proficiency requirements for concealed carry permits. * I can go along with that. Kirata brought that one up on other threads though I can't speak for others.

What the fuck have you going on about all of it for ?
Ya feel better now ?

I should have finished with: Are done being a dick now? What the fuck have you been arguing for pages if there's no problem?

Nothing in what I said even suggested that, it was you who said she shouldn't have had a gun in her purse and that we needed to have a law which would have prevented it.
Once again you have been caught in saying something you can't or won't back up.

AND the primary concern was addressing the design flaw ... which you conveniently omitted.

Look, y'all just want to scream "I won!" not solve anything. So you keep playing childish games with reality.

Enough. Tell yourself you won. Buy a trophy on Amazon. Celebrate.

So you can't say how you would have kept her from having a gun in her purse. Remember that was why you said reckless endangerment laws were not good enough.

Will wait for next inane smug comment.

Bama can't seem to grasp that. Everything reads to him as "We want to ban carry" no matter what it says.

Remember her carrying in the purse was completely legal, it didn't become endangerment till she left it unattended. So there was no reason for them to know she had a gun in her purse.

I never said you want to ban carry, I asked you if you did. But I guess you can't see the difference.
I have pointed this out several times but all you can hear is what you want to hear.

This is just astounding.

What part of (a) I wouldn't tackle it from the purse angle, since it's already a legal problem and not enforceable short of installing metal detectors and searching purses, (b) fix the design flaw, (c) take an assessment of training programs--is giving you comprehension problems?

I have no comprehension problems.
Having the gun in the purse is not a legal problem. This is a gross misconception on your part.
You have a serious comprehension problem. Carrying the firearm in her purse was legal. Reckless endangerment only comes into play when she left it unattended. If you weren't wanting to tackle the purse angle why did you ask me how they would know if she had one in her purse?
