ORIGINAL: FieryOpal Actually, I wasn't aware that this glitchiness affected profile text or journal entry content. I'll have to keep that in mind for future reference. Take a look at my topmost (newest) journal entry, and you'll see the results of a quick test: Interestingly, the first two fail immediately, while the latter two fail during a post-processing step that Collarspace must run separately (or which was incurred during one of my edits to the journal entry). quote:
deive === d.e.s.c.r.i.p.t.i.v.e (typed without the periods) preive === p.r.e.s.c.r.i.p.t.i.v.e (typed without the periods) === e.v.a.u.a.t.e (typed without the periods) <angle brackets> === > < (typed in the other direction) It was embarrassing, to have a spelling mistake in my journal, since command of the English language is one skill I pride myself upon as serving well. What made it more so was that I had attempted to correct the faux pas three times, in subsequent emails to Miss Marie, who, was understanding, yet, my face reddened from the seemingly repeat offense. I always feel I should be punished if I don't correct my actions the very first time, so, I had felt especially blameworthy, having unknowingly repeated my mistake. If ever a Domme needed an excuse to punish a sub, a spelling test utilizing these inadvertent morphemes would be a clever way to ensure the sub's repeatedly demeritorious behavior doesn't go unpunished! :) quote:
ORIGINAL: FieryOpal Well, we can't send the mob out on whoever was responsible for what crazyml aptly termed "filtering out" such language, since this was evidently done during CM days. I'm sure that programmer is long gone. Too bad. It would have been fun to organize a public whipping! :)
