Did Sarah Palin Just Say 'F%@# You' To Michael Moore?

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/sarah-palin-michael-moore-f-you

A photo of Sarah Palin was posted to Facebook on Friday showing the former Republican vice presidential nominee holding a sign that read "Fuc_ You Michael Moore."

Palin was pictured alongside two men, one of whom appears to be Sgt. Dakota Meyers, a Medal of Honor recipient, and the person who apparently posted the image.

Meyers posted the image with the caption "Here's a tribute to you Michael Moore. Share it and make it trending ‪#‎michaelmoore‬."

Both instances of the letter "o" in Moore were replaced with what appeared to be crosshairs in the handmade sign shown in the photo.

Michael Moore has received criticism from conservatives for his scathing comments on "American Sniper" a movie based on the autobiography of former Navy SEAL and sniper Chris Kyle.

Mediaite received the photo on Friday via a tip, which Editor in Chief Andrew Kirell shared on Twitter:

The photo landed as Palin has been considering a 2016 presidential bid. When asked by an ABC News correspondent whether she'd consider entering the race for the Republican nomination, Palin said, "Of course."

"Yeah, I mean, of course, when you have a servant's heart, when you know that there is opportunity to do all you can to put yourself forward in the name of offering service, anybody would be interested," Palin said.

Palin received flak in March 2010 for a Facebook post of a map with crosshairs showing Democrats who had voted for health care reform in conservative districts, including Gabrielle Giffords' district. After Giffords was shot in the head at an event in Arizona, an aide of Palin's was forced to explain that her map wasn't meant to represent gun sights and that blaming her was "obscene" and "appalling."

Folks at Saturday Night Live are probably wet at the prospect.
A Palin candidacy would be ratings bonanza for the show.

In 2008 and 2012 the GOP had like 12-16 candidates whom were all fucked in the head in one form or another. That their field was reduced by attrition to two or three persons that....might....get the nomination. And those two or three had to show they were mover conservative then anyone else running. Unfortunately, moderates do not want the extreme ends of either liberal or conservative in the White House. So all someone had to do was show they are for middle America, and they get the nomination for the White House.

In 2016, it will be the same thing again. There will be like 16 or some candidates with more baggage then music singers after a mental crash storming on the stages to say their lunatic level drivel will improve America (as long as no one takes a serious, objective analysis of the ideas). Meanwhile the GOP's propaganda machine will be working 24/7 to show these conservative morons in the best possible light, while undermining the facts and evidence of anyone opposing them.

Which is why the Clinton/Warren ticket will win. Moderates seem to like Warren and are neutral/warm with Clinton. The liberals will be happy. The Democrats have to show they have the ability, know-how, and materials to make the nation a better place.

So 'yes', let Mrs. Palin run for office. She'll quit after two years, write a book about everything, and try to have her non-profit sites buy the books for 'donation' so she can get all the proceeds from the books being purchased.

....What? Its not like she's done any of that before....

Meh. Considering what Moore said and who she is standing with, nice sign. I think Moore is a waste of oxygen anyways.

Palin is such a stupid bint she probably believes she'd have a chance. I hope she does. I love laughing at her, and anyone that takes her seriously.

With regards to the sign, I totally agree with Aylee.

With regards to her crosshairs map, she wasn't the only one using a shooting analogy on strategy maps, and the GOP wasn't the only one of the two major parties to do so.

With regards to her running, why not? If she thinks she has what it takes to run and win the White House, why shouldn't she try? Granted, she'll be avalanched with critical attacks (some of which will be appropriate and accurate), but she knows that, so if she is willing to face that, why shouldn't she run? Some will get all googly-eyed over her. Some (like LaTigresse) will find great humor. In the end, she'll not get the nomination and her campaign will actually add to the US economy!

I never said you weren't entitled.

At the very least, a Palin run for the nomination would add money to the economy. I think we all agree she won't win, so there's money that might not have been spent, being spent. Give fodder to the SNL's, Maher's, etc., too.

Why shouldn't she run?

bounty44 -> RE: presidential hopeful again? (1/25/2015 6:53:55 AM)

I agree with aylee, and desi too...with the exception of that I hope she doesn't run. I agree she is not electable, and would better serve the conservative cause in some other way during the election season.
