Just curious, did something specific happen to cause your intense hatred of the US or was it more of a generalized thing? And do you honestly think making exaggerated claims like "Nancy in Tampa, now currently in her late 50's I believe, have never ever driven above 30mph all her life." is going to help your credibility. Now you probably don't know this based on past comments, but it is just as illegal to drive way under the speed limit as it is to drive over it. If your friend honestly never went over 30 then it was probably because they took her license away at an early age or she never drove anywhere. As to your Wild West crack and redneck comments, you have a lot of balls to call anyone else myopic.

Cheap food, cheap clothes, cheap cars, cheap fuel, cheap houses, better wages, better weather... yada yada yada. The main reason I don't live there now are 1) the guns and stupid people; 2) stupidly expensive healthcare costs. And just because I happen to know quite a few people that have never driven fast (even when they've never lost their license), doesn't discredit me at all. You presume that they have lost their license at some point - they haven't. And those claims are not exaggerated either. These are real people that I know and have met personally. And I can hold my PoV that a lot of Americans and their guns do indeed have a myopic PoV compared to many in the US and also most outside the US that see that stubborn PoV as being self-destructive. That doesn't make it any less poignant or relevant than those that hold the opposite view.

You know, I've been reading, Mike ... In the Constitution, as well as the 2nd Amendment, what look like the words 'gun' and 'guns' are actually misprints. The true words are, in fact, 'beard' and 'beards'. Not a lot of people know that.

I didn't have to go back that far, I just figured that even FD had heard of OJ. With age comes wisdom, except in your case.
