A lot of people do not "come out" regarding sexuality and kink, so I thought we could do a little graphic speculation about comics/graphic novel heros and villains. I'll warn you now, that even though My girl is a timid poster, she will be hard pressed not to debate your speculations regarding heros and villains cuz when it comes to comics and graphic novels she knows her stuff. So, here's wot we're gunna do: 1. Speculate the hero/villains "sexuality" and tell us why you think it. 2. Speculate the hero/villains "D/s M/s T/b" and tell us why you think it and who it would be with. 3. Expound upon the hero/villains kink/fetish and tell us why you think it. I'm going to use superman cuz having that much power and authority... he'd have to be a closet sub. Submissive to Wonder Woman, total M/s Mistress and bound slave. Bondage (lots of it), humiliation, cuckolding (cuz who could survive the man of steel cumming inside you?) and Discipline (how else could he be overpowered other than surrender?). Tyrant... sigh Superman would be a switch, huge power struggle between wonder woman and him cause well wonder women has major issues being weak or letting go. Batman would be dominant only in the fact that he lets no one control him or take charge ever.. Mera would be the ultimate female Dom, red haired feisty as all get out bad ass. Loki would be a CD sissy boy to the max but would disguise it cause he would be ashamed. Doomsday would be dominant, cause he's just a bad ass that pwned superman.. God, I could go on forever

Aquaman is submissive, cause well see the above Mera.. Namor.. again I feel switch cause while he enjoys control, he also likes to give it up.. most likely bi as well

Those two I'm not speculating mostly cause the comics have shown us their proclivities.. Deadpool has been shown to be bi, as well as having been shown to enjoy being dominated and dominating others.. Hulk is hetero, and was shown to be completely dominant.. edited to add: The only one I am speculating on is superman, just cause they change him at times and he is so wishy washy.. all the others if you read the comics show you who they are so not much to speculate

I think Batman and Catwoman definitely dominant, and I could see them together in a Poly relationship. Robin is submissive and bi. Ivy dominant, Penguin submissive, Joker definitely dominant, Harley Quinn submissive ONLY to Joker. I think Harley Quinn is bi and would be dominant to her submissive. Aquaman, I agree he is submissive. Deathstroke, submissive. Superman submissive. Wonder Women, is there really any doubt? Definitely dominant.

If we want to get a little more modern... Rat Queens, they are a mix of submissives that are bi, lesbian and straight.... Hunter/Killer are a group of dominants.. The superior spider man is a straight dominant, though the older spider men were not kinky but I would speculate that his girlfriends were submissives with a bondage fetish..lol Thor has now become transgender... though dominant, might actually wanna be submissive.. Note: please excuse my made up word lol

Catwoman is by far submissive, though she has a major crush on batman, she is typically dominated by the men in her life..

I dunno. I can see her being submissive by default, because no one takes her seriously. Once she puts on her suit, she can be herself. Be in control and manipulate through her sexuality. She'd probably out a check next to the primal box, too.

Even in her cat suit she is still submissive and defers to anyone dominate over her, the cat suit affords her the ability to be stealthy, catwoman was only ever a "burglar".. edited to elaborate: The movies play up her "sexiness" in the cat suit and try to portray her as some sort of dominatrix type female when in it. The tv show Gotham portrays her the best, just a neither all good nor all bad person that has a crush on batman..

Robin would depend on which one.. First robin submissive and bi Dick, dominant straight and a oh so adorable when he becomes nightwing Red robin, straight female hasn't quite found her niche.. though may switch when it comes down to it.. Raven is a hard one.. on some level submissive but with those powers could lean toward dominant.. She has a major self awareness that would make her an awesome submissive but she would baulk at any who she would feel try to take advantage of her powers and use them.

Totally off topic (sort of), but since you love comics I'm curious to know if you have watched the new tv series Gotham and what you think about it. I'm totally loving it.

I love that show, great young portrayal of the comic characters... I just wish they'd give us a few more of batman's villians, I love the penguin but they aren't really giving his back story enough credit.. and they should have Harvey Dent in there a little more..

They have done such a great job with casting, IMO. I was so geeked with the Joker's introduction. I agree about the Penguin. Honestly, he never was one of my favorite characters but this portrayal makes him so much more interesting to me and I would love more of his story. I'm surprised with the lack of Harvey Dent. Speaking of which, Two-Face...I say submissive.
