Okay, sluts, here's tha thang...

I, for one, get all kinds of giddy happy excited that most of you sluts are well in tune with your sexuality, know what you like, know what you love, and are not a bit skeered to get your sexual happy on. The "slut shaming" thing tends to boggle my mind... especially when you consider just how slutty men are... and I just cannot become a muslim because I do not want 71 virgins for my happy ever after, give me 71 sluts that know what the hell they're doing and I'll be one happy Tyrant.

I mean, really, who wants to negotiate which of us sleeps in the wet spot? You want to fire me up, start with this: "Just so you know, Tyrant, you won't have to sleep in the wet spot, we both will, because there will not be a dry spot in this bed."

I absolutely adore sluts. My favorite kind of slut is the exclusive slut. Exclusively mine, exclusively yours, the girl that is a proud slut and proud to be His/her slut and not a bit skeered to flaunt their sluttiness.

Soooo... do you ever feel "slut shamed", and if so, how, when, why?

I'm in line for the T-shirt, can we get International Slut Day coffee mugs too? This shameless "I love the wet spot" slut needs her morning coffee.

I never felt slut shamed but I never gave a damn what anyone else thinks of me. I've been around the block a few times and if someone wants to try to shame me for anything I do or did, they can try but won't succeed. There are only two opinions of me that matter to me, mine and his.

I used to get slut shamed a lot, and always coupled with comments about my weight.

Then I stopped giving a shit.

I love when he calls me his whore or slut, I beam with affection and pride after. I don't think I'll ever be with anyone again who doesn't see it as a good thing.

I had experiences with it when I was younger. Some false assumptions were made of me. It didn't bother me an incredible amount, since I knew the truth as did friends. Once those other people learned the truth, it actually became worse. Their offers for dates were declined and I was met with attempted intimidation and retaliation. That didn't really bother me an incredible amount either. Both were more of an annoyance. I had a bully at a very young age and learned to deal with it. Plus, I knew who the assholes were so I stayed away from them.

Today, I am absolutely a huge slut - only, his slut. Yup, he calls me his "dirty little slut" and I smile. He loves it, I love it. We even broke out the slut paddle yesterday to celebrate it :)
Someone wants to call me a slut today, I'd agree with them and smile. It's oh so fun being one.

However- I will say.

I've been a non mono slut also. I'm as ok with that as being "his".

I've never insisted on a relationship with my sex- and I have plenty of FWB's who could respect that I just owned the fact I'm a sexual being.
Ha. Actually back when I was on OKC I remember taking that like "Lover's Style Quiz" and the results were so hilariously dead on. They called me "The Playstation"- "Easy to turn on. Hard to beat. You are The Playstation. You’re a nice girl, and you have lots of sex."

That is how I've described myself ever since because I thought it was so funny.

I totally understand how slut is being used here, and I totally understand the 'reclaiming' of the word but if/when applied to me I shut down completely. It is one of those keywords that brings up horrible memories such as my locker being painted with slut when I was 12 and had zero interest in boys. I just cannot embrace that word.

You know what I hate?

People telling me I'm going to get loose.
I have NEVER understood the reasoning. I don't understand if their ARE loose vagina's out there or why people say that- or if it was just invented for the purpose of shaming women.
I HATE that hotdog down a hallway thing. I can't think of anything more personal to go after. Fuck slut shaming.

I could write a goddamn book about how women are discouraged from being sexual or discouraged from having one night stands while all the men get high fives for it.

Slut shaming helps no one. Slut celebrating helps everyone.

I always find it so weird that no one can see that. Like want ladies to rock your world like a pornstar? LET THE GIRL WATCH PORN IF SHE WANTS.
Want to put it up her butt? STOP CALLING OTHER LADIES WHO HAVE ANAL WHORES.
Want her to feel ok enough with you to drown you in female ejaculate? Stop acting like she's a slut for being turned on that much by sex.
Want her to bang a girl with you? Stop telling her she probably has herpes.

I don't understand it. Really. Its stupid.

And it goes back SO far I could just scream. Women have been constantly kept in check sexually by this crap- and its better today than in like...the 1800's- but still FinDommes, Sex Workers, and Strippers can't get any respect for choosing to do that. If a girl has a lot of one night stands (Snooki) its assumed she has a VD- its so crazy to me that is assumed she has a VD but not a guy who does the same thing. (not that I'm saying Snooki is some feminist icon- I'm not at all...but still- folks choose to shame her for the wrong things...)

STUPID.
Furthermore all this does is put unnecessary emphasis on female virginity- which makes those who aren't of age seem appealing. It makes a girl losing her virginity important to her for all the wrong reasons. It makes a virgin who is raped, that much more shamed.

Slut shaming is so stupid.
