My Master and I want me to lose weight not only for my self esteem and to feel sexy but for health reasons but I struggle to lose and stop eating, it is at the point I have considered making myself vomit after eating and I don't want to actually do it, I am at a loss of how to do this and keep up with it.

What do you do to help your subs or slaves to keep going and support them in their journey, I know something I find hard is other people eating tasty food around me and getting the motivation to stay on a diet and exercising. I am currently a size 14 and steadily increasing, I want to be a ten maximum!

Any information and help is appreciated.
Thanks!
Crystal.

Food is fuel. There is a difference between skinny and fit. Totally change the way you look at food and your body. You seem perfectly fine and healthy looking to me. Does your Master want you to be skinny or does he want you to be fit because there's a difference between the two in picture illustrated. Depending on your fitness goals I can advise for sure and you can figure out what sounds like it works best for you. Diets don't work by the way. Your body will go into starvation mode, cling to food and cause you to gain weight faster. Food is fuel to keep your organs and body working like they're supposed to.

If you want a leaner and more sculpted look, you should consider weight training, lifting the heaviest you can with 3 sets of 6-15 repetitions for every muscle group. You need a 10 min cardio warm up prior to doing sets and if your Master weight trains he can help with this. The results will be as follows. Or if that is too "muscley" for you then I recommend "FitnessBlender" on youtube. The only way to 100% guarantee losing weight(or gain for skinny people) and stay healthy is to exercise. (Muscle weighs more than fat, scales were a dumb invention).

I will add that form is more important than weight and so is stretching to prevent injury. I leg press 500 lbs on 6 reps and I have yet to injure. I can also recommend Insanity as it was my starter workout and it really is amazing if you're masochistic enough to handle it. Also knowing your body's limits. Resting in between sets/when you feel fatigue is important to not compromise form. Insanity is the only cardio workout apart from the crossfit stuff that works like weight lifting. Crossfit is also really expensive so I'd not recommend but there is that teamwork atmosphere and encouragement some people need. To add this is a fallacy about lifting heavy I feel I should point out. And you need to fuel your body properly in order to do these workouts. I recommend 5;3;2 as proten;fat;carbs but fats and carbs are interchangeable. Lots of legumes, peanut butter (depending on allergies), brown rice and pasta, fruit and veggies sure and spinach seems to always give me an "edge" in muscle retention.

By the way, just to keep in mind how quickly people judge based on surface things and that anybody should feel comfortable in their own skin check this out. http://www.cnn.com/2012/03/23/living/male-ideal-body-image/ This guy gained 70 lbs on purpose. Had this to say thereafter.
He said he realizes now how obsessed he was with a physical ideal, and what it feels like to be so many pounds away from it; Manning is still taking the weight off. His friends, family and wife understood he wouldn't be overweight forever. But he has gained empathy for his personal training clients, and a new understanding of strangers who stared at a man approaching 265 pounds.

"Maybe I was on the other side of it before," Manning said. "Maybe I was more judgmental before I went through this whole thing."
Some things we cannot control, like how others will react to us but we can decide for ourselves what will make us happy.

Exercise together.
Weight Watchers works because you have support.
Going out for a walk with someone works because you aren't going to bail and leave them jilted.

If you folks have the time and money, a gym membership, with an occasional session with a personal trainer is great.

What is he doing to help and encourage you?

I'm all about the easy changes:
I do weight watchers, also use myfitnesspal.com- message me on the other side and I'll add you to that if you use it/want to.
Get a cheap pedometer- get 10k steps a day. That for me is like...crazy effective. If I get 10K a day- I lose weight (if I have a calorie defecit) How do I hit it? I set up my wii fit stepper in front of the TV and I just walk while I watch an hour long program, I can usually get about 4000 steps in, in an hour- And I usually get 6000-7000 throughout the day.

Park further from wherever it is your going.

Drink more water.

Get 8 hours of sleep.

I basically have taken to just replacing one meal with a smoothie (with spinach in it) or a salad. It keeps my calories down- and I get fruit/veggies easily that way.

I plan my whole day the night before. Right now, I'm actually plugging in all my meals for tomorrow, then I go pack what I'm bringing to work right now so that I have NO reason not to bring it to work tomorrow. I usually leave a 100 calorie "cushion" for unplanned snacks.

My guy supports me by coming to the gym with me, not bitching when I'm using the stepper in front of the TV, and helping me be reminded to pack, and of course, by telling me when I've done a good job and when he is proud of me.

Uhm...diet and exercise?
And by diet I mean eating less and eating healthy.
There are a LOT of places that fix vegan/vegetarian and can even deliver like a weeks worth.
Check it out.
I'm already pretty healthy but I wanted to go a step further. So I still make a small portion of meat/protein but am getting vegetarian sides delivered.
It's working out REALLY well!

First of all, it's not about being skinny as you may feel too. It's about being healthy. So, like anything else, it's about balance.

First of all, diets do work. The reason diets do work is because EVERYBODY is on A diet. Some diets loaded with sugar compounded by being physically sedentary, means one is going to get fatter.

Second, mankind did not survive by 'gorging' himself 3 times a day as we are instructed to do now. 8-10,000 years ago and maybe less, man ate whatever he could whenever he found it which was rare so it was small meals all day...everyday.

So your first meal should be sufficient, the next smaller and dinner smaller yet IF you do not have very physical life. IF you are active, you can eat a bit more avoid the sugars. If you are very active, you can eat more.

Still, one should have very few cheeseburgers and pizzas if you get my drift. I am working on maintaining what is called the Rainbow diet which is balanced mixture. While once a week steak, chicken and fish...fresh and steamed or broiled to avoid frying.

Cardio and stretching workouts alternating every other day. That's it.

Find as diet you enjoy, yes...a diet you enjoy and just stay on it...forever. Find physical activity you enjoy and stay with it for as long as you can...even years.

Oh and forget the scale. Do Not obsess over your weight. Go by how you feel.

Exactly this and I disagree with "eating less" as one person stated. It's not quantity of food it's quality and carb starving and "fad diets" should specify DON'T WORK.
I love with what this fit mom is doing. Prepares a week worth of food in an hour. The tough thing is a lot of plastic containers but this might give you some ideas as far as tasty yet healthy meals. Healthy food doesn't have to taste bad. I have been out of the gym for over a week and usually I go twice a week and my abs are still there because I fuel my body right. The only thing I'd do differently is less sodium and brown rice vs white in the video. About to make turkey bacon, eggs, sauteed spinach, grilled tomato and sauteed peppers with basil, oregano and garlic salt. (Nothing on the eggs) with a side o oatmeal with whey or toast.
Hopefully your Master is willing to all of this with you, having someone helping you along the way makes a difference.
I rarely eat out I should add and also rarely eat red meat. I also avoid processed food, soda, juice (eat fruit) and precooked meals. (Microwaveables). Once in a while I'll have pizza though, hehe. You need one cheat day a week but that's another story.
I recently added whey to my weekly regimen I should add.

The first thing to do is stop blaming yourself.

The second thing to do is start learning about your body and how it works. There are a couple of realities here and it's important to go over them.

First, understand that sugar (and high fructose corn syrup) are your enemy. Sugar is more addictive than cocaine and stimulates the pleasure centres of your brain in the same way.

Sugar interferes with your secretion of - and sensitivity to - leptin. Leptin is the satiety hormone which is used to inform your brain that you're full. Ghrelin and leptin are the hunger and satiety hormones which regulate your appetite.

Sugar - specifically fructose - causes leptin resistance. In animal studies, those animals given fructose suffered increased hunger and gained weight.

Sugar also sends your insulin skyrocketing and insulin - surprise, surprise - is the fat storage hormone. Your body will store fat when insulin is present.

Fructose causes the liver to generate VLDL and leads to fatty liver disease. It uses the same biochemical pathways as alcohol.

Bottom line: Sugar is killing you AND it's making you fatter.

You need to eliminate sugar and high fructose corn syrup from your diet. The average American consumes 153g of sugar (38 teaspoons) every day. Men need to get that down to the WHO recommendation of 9 teaspoons. Women need to get it down to the WHO recommendation of 6 teaspoons.

Hidden sugar is EVERYWHERE. It's in every processed food you buy. Stop buying processed food, start buying produce.

Step 1 - Eliminate sugar

The next thing you need to eliminate is refined carbohydrate. Most refined carbohydrates have a pretty similar effect to sugar. With consequent effects upon your blood sugar, your insulin secretion, your leptin secretion and consequently your leptin resistance will continue to rise.

Step 2 - Eliminate refined carbohydrates

Finally, you need to start getting the grains out of your diet. Grains contain a variety of substances designed to discourage their consumption. There's a whole boatload of effects from grains but an increasing body of evidence connects grain consumption with irritable bowel syndrome and various autoimmune diseases.

Ditch potatoes as well. They contain saponens ( a soap-like substance), a subset of which are known as glycoalkaloids. Glycoalkaloids protect the tuber by poisoning anything which attempts to eat it. Including you.

Sweet potatoes are fine. Totally different animal.

Step 3 - Eliminate grains, potatoes and legumes.

Basically you want to bring your carbohydrate consumption right down. Carbohydrate consumption is linked with the production of LDL type B - the dangerous kind of LDL cholesterol. As it happens, the percentages of type B particles in your bloodstream drop as your carbohydrate consumption drops. The percentage approaches zero as your carb consumption drops to 22% of your daily intake.

Essentially the food pyramid is wrong. You want to eat a lot of vegetables, a small amount of fruit (mostly blueberries) almost no grains , potatoes or legumes, a decent amount of protein (10-20%) and between 55 and 70% fat. Aiming for omega 3's and saturated fat. (And stay away from Canola oil, that shit is SERIOUSLY bad for you).

Dietary cholesterol is irrelevant. Saturated fat is not the enemy. And cooking for yourself is the way to go. In short, avoid processed food and go Paleo.

The key though, is sugar. Ditch that fucker right away. It's making you fat and keeping you fat.

I'd also recommend considering a ketogenic diet at some point. The reduction in sugar and carbohydrates kickstarts your leptin sensitivity again and your satiety kicks in with a vengeance. You may reach that point just by going Paleo, but it's something to consider.

I wasn't going to do this but I must.

I looked at this young lady's profile. I wouldn't call her "fat" by any stretch. Certainly, I don't think she's anywhere near an unhealthy weight.

I have to ask, young lady: Is your weight really a health issue for you?

You're thinner than average and not very far from ideal, certainly don't resort to throwing up.

Putting stomach acid through your esophagus and mouth on a regular basis does damage, losing weight that way is the opposite of getting more healthy.

It is fairly obvious.

A healthy diet and exercise.

Maybe plan around your body clock.

For instance, I could never swim after work as I just want to be at home with a cup of tea at that time of day/night. But, I easily get out of bed at half 5 in the morning to go swimming.

There are also a million and one healthy dinners you could have. You or the next man/woman will be able to find something you like.

I accept that it's not so easy for people with children, and there's nothing wrong with someone not wishing to lead a particularly healthy lifestyle (providing the tax payer is not picking up the bill), but someone able bodied and wanting to lose weight but not getting very far, simply isn't trying very hard.

It's like most things in life. If you want it enough you'll get there, so the first question to ask yourself is: "do I really want it enough?". Assuming the answer is yes, then stop making excuses and get on with it.

I do not care about someones weight or size. Actually in my lifetime i have told 2 people to eat more - but trying to rationalize with the anorexic and bulimic is all but impossible.

However you alluded to this impacting your health i have cfs - not a secret- so exercise is pretty much out of the question for now and i must be hmm 4 stone overweight yet I eat very little

Weight loss what do I know about it - lots and lots.

A misnomer is that someone thinks if they eat healthier and exercise they will/should be a stick with the passage of little time

Weight loss is about small gradual changes to eating habits and something as simple as a walk.

Weight loss can be about losing 0.5lbs to 4lbs a month for a year ideally with exercise like walking 1-2 times week and building it up to 7 over a few months.

or yu could try the sudden vast shock to the system and loathe every minute of it - few people are able to maintain this

slowly and gradually springs to my mind with simple small changes and do not be naive to notice you will notice a difference after 7 days to 60 it takes longer. Be happy at the samll differences over many months

Basing your self value on physical characteristics is a dangerous game. That being said, perhaps some inner work would be more beneficial to you than working on getting that perfect beach bod. What makes you feel good about yourself? Valueable? What brings you joy? these are the building blocks to higher self worth and happiness, not "omg look at me I'm so physically appealing" what happens when someone rejects you? Then you're back to square one on the low self esteem pole. Feel good about you as you are now, then work on the physical stuffs.

Love to you :)

OP included health as a reason for wanting to lose weight.

I would recommend working with professional sadists (aka personal trainer and nutritionist) to come up with an individualized plan to help accomplish these goals.

If you haven't done so recently, a physical would be good starting place. It can help you figure out specifically what your health goals are, as well as possibly uncover any underlying issues that affect weight. And be sure to mention to the doctor you are concerned about your weight so that they can run those extra tests or ask some more questions. Depression, PCOS, thyroid issues, birth control medications and more can all affect weight.

Once you figure out what your specific health goals are, develop a plan. A plan to lower your cholesterol might be completely different than a plan to become more toned and sculpted, so making a health goal is important. Do you need to eat different foods (more vegetables, less processed for example)? Or is your diet fine, you just need to control portions a bit more and stop snacking between meals? Do you need motivation to get to the gym? Or do you need direction on what to actually do once you are there?

Diets won't work if you hate most of the food you eat. My personal advice is to find small tweaks to the foods you currently eat, rather than forcing yourself to eat unappealing food. So if you drink soda every day for example, try swapping 2 or 3 sodas a week for a bottle of water. Or, have a bottle of water first and if you still feel thirsty after, then reach for the soda. Try cooking at home, making healthier versions of the foods you love. I love pizza, but I found some recipes for pizza with a cauliflower crust. It certainly tastes different, but with enough sauce and veggie toppings, I really don't mind the difference.

And don't beat yourself up for going off track. There will be a night when your friends invite you out to dinner and the restaurant doesn't have anything that fits your diet. Prepare for it the best you can, but if something happens, it happens. The world will not end because you ate one cheeseburger.

As for including your Master, a lot of that depends on your dynamic. How do you want to incorporate him? He could give punishments for you not reaching a certain goal, he could go to the gym with you, he could make a meal plan for you to follow, he could physically remove the snacks from your home and make you do things to earn them, etc.

Best of luck!

Which is stating the obvious, and you alone have brought: "being a stick with the passage of time" into the discussion.

Nobody is talking about achieving the impossible, so please do keep it in perspective.

I am yet to meet a person who does not lose weight by eating healthy and exercising regularly. I'm sure there is a study out there to the contrary, but from my point of view seeing is believing.

Decide what you want to be and go for it, with effort. Don't make a half hearted decision and whinge when the results aren't what you would like.
