Dear Winter,

Go fuck yourself.

Sincerely,

No really... go fuck yourself.

Can we just sign this; like The Declaration of Independence? You know: " ... so say we all"?

Those were my exact words when this bullshit started again an hour ago. I'll join the Winter Go Fuck Yourself club. The way it's going, it might be June before I get my ass out of here and back to where I belong.

I know some areas are running out of places to put the snow. I say we hall it to wherever ChrchofDrk and AlabamaPrincess are located and drop the heaps there.

Nah. Now that they're smoking weed everywhere in Colorado, Abalama is No. 2 on my retirement list so, let's leave them alone.

The ski areas here would love to have just a fraction of the snow that's falling in other places... feel free to send it.

We've got a couple of inches already. And more coming on Thursday.

On the bright side, wild turkey hens came out from wintering in the thick woods today. They think spring is coming. Crossing my fingers that they're right.

It's finally getting warmer. Relative to having had the coldest February in 115 years. We're due for a whole entire 4 inches of snow by noon tomorrow. I think that's about the most we've had all winter. It's been 2 or 3 inches falling at a time.

I had a small meltdown this morning when I had to brush off my car again.
I don't want to do it again tomorrow. It will break me.

I invite you all to come to Florida to wait this out.

Nature tried to give us a blizzard too. But it's warm enough down here that all we got was torrential rain and flash floods. I took a rowboat home from work.

DIBS on the couch!

Bad news is you might have to share.
Good news is it's a pull-out couch, and there's plenty of room.

Nope. I called DIBS. That supersedes any previous arrangement you may have had.

Psh. Fine. Someone's going to have to sleep on the coffee table. Maybe I'll throw some blankets over the dining room chairs.
There's space on top of the liquor cabinet if someone's exceptionally small.

Thank you. DIBS is sacred. Now you know.

Wouldn't that depend who you have to share the couch with?
