bounty44 -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (4/19/2015 8:17:58 AM)

good timing then for this piece:

The Sham Candidacy of Hillary Clinton — and What It Means for the Republic

quote:

Let us please stipulate that in a rational world, a woman like Hillary Rodham Clinton would have absolutely no chance of being nominated for, much less elected, president of the United States. She has achieved nothing, accomplished nothing (unless you count the four dead Americans at Benghazi, for which she will ultimately be held responsible); she is an exremely poor public speaker, full of annoying verbal and physical tics; she is legendarily dishonest; she is a hard-core Alinskyite; and in general a wretched human being. By rights, she should be laughed off the stage...She has no natural political constituency, except the manufactured “women’s vote,” and no rationale for her candidacy except that it’s “time” for a woman president, just as it was “time” for a part-black African, part-Arab, half-white, paternally cultural Muslim to pass for a traditional African-American Christian and be elected president in 2008...For the sake of democracy in America, she needs to be defeated and politically destroyed. Break Hillary and you have begun to break the power of the Mainstream Media, a fifth column masquerading as the Fourth Estate whose mission it has been for decades to “fundamentally transform” the United States of America.

For the only reason an HRC candidacy is even plausible is the influence of the legacy media, which has simply declared, by fiat, her suitability and her inevitability. You may recall that the MSM did the same thing in the run-up to 2008, until their dreamboat, Obama, came along and gave the aging Baby Boomers, who had dreamed of exactly this moment since 1968, a reason to push the female candidate to the back of the bus in order to celebrate the only kind of “diversity” they advocate, which is racial...

But back to Hillary and what amounts to the MSM’s own campaign to keep itself in power. For that is what it is. Despite its occasional displeasure when Barry fails to walk on water, the atheist, anti-American Left could not conceivably have supported anyone else during his elegibility...a Hillary! candidacy is, at the moment, the next best thing to a third Obama term...

In its black heart, the legacy media would probably prefer to see someone other than Hillary! run; they understand her many and manifest weaknesses as a candidate and would rather not take the chance with her. And why should they? Whomever they anoint will begin his or her day with the editorial pages of the New York Times, and then go about the ongoing business of dismantling the nation as founded, one brick at a time...

Part of what sunk Hillary and most other Dems last time around was, they all voted to liberate Iraq - and the Dems had a psychotic narrative to push. America bad, liberating Iraq very bad, Bush bad, anti-American "liberals" good.

Jr Senator Obama was one of the very few Democrats who hadnt pushed hard to liberate Iraq, therefore making him the obvious choice for the nomination

Beside that, he was black. They could play their race card to no end, and our far left media gave Obama a total pass on his highly questionable background (his racist pastor etc) while foaming at the mouth about Romneys dog and something an actress said on a 'Saturday Night Live' skit

More than giving him a pass, they idolized him. Compared him to Jesus and Gandhi, MLK... Honored him with a peace prize because he was all of that and more

Cmon

Dont be lazy

The least you could do is spend half an hour constructing an elaborate straw man to knock over

JVoV -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (4/19/2015 2:09:49 PM)

At this point, I'm more interested in specific issues than a specific candidate. And I would like to hear what other Democrats have in mind.

I also think Hillary needs real competition for the nomination, to prepare for the General election.

slvemike4u -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (4/19/2015 2:16:04 PM)

Did anyone expect anything less than what we are seeing fed to us here from our friends on the right ?

She is,was,and will continue to be the presumptive Democratic nominee.

The right has no other target to shoot at,she's it .

19 months of this instead of 12/14.....no sense not making use of that time.

Unfortunately for the right she will still be standing come the general and who knows which one of the lesser lights will be propped up in front of her.

They are already handing out #StopHillary placards.....lol

JVoV -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (4/19/2015 2:30:23 PM)

I don't get so riled up over Republican candidates. I'd prefer Jeb over all of them. He was a good governor for my state of Florida. In fact, I believe he may be the only candidate that has a plan on immigration reform solid enough to make it a non-issue for future elections.

Hillary should talk to him about it after she's elected.

Really,you think Jeb,dragging that last name along,could ever win a general ?

The left hates her, the right hates her, the middle hates her... What could possibly go wrong?

slvemike4u -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (4/19/2015 3:49:28 PM)

Are you going to join me in Washington to see history made when she takes the oath ?

Come on,it will be fun...we can call each other "prick" face to face [:D]

Thanks, but Ill pass

I think Jeb & Hillary are about equal in that regard, honestly.

Sanity work with me here,of course the whole thing is based on the premise of her winning.

Were that to happen we are talking an historical event.

In that light couldn't you over look my "lowest kind of clueless jerk" status ?

For the history of it ,join me in celebrating history,I did it approximately eight years ago with my son,now granted you won't be half as fun as my son was...but what the fuck ,surely we can put aside our differences to celebrate the American experience ?

Than we will have to agree to disagree.
Clinton saw us thru the 90's which were,as we look back on them a much better decade.

Bush say us thru the first decade of the new millennium and into one of the worst recessions in history.

He also marched us into the disaster of Iraq and all that cost in fortune and blood.

How you see that as equal I have no idea [8|]

JVoV -> RE: Hillary's E-Mails (4/19/2015 5:46:39 PM)

I may be a bad liberal, but I don't blame anyone for either of the wars in Iraq other than Saddam Hussein. Even Bill Clinton bombed the bastard a time or two.
