I do appreciate the advice I really do. But what is this... redicule the newbie day. Especially when hes just trying to understand how things work. This is all new to me So its gonna take a whIle To get it. I was under the impression the sub was supposed to do what ever the dom asks. and with my only experience which was a disaster And apparently not done correctly. I dont know what is right or wrong.

Not making fun of you. When you open mail on this site you'll see big red letters at the top of the page warning you to not send money to another user for any reason. You followed that part. However, under the red letters are blue letters that say "Common Scams and Online Safety Information." You forgot to click on the blue letters and read what it says. You really should read them now. This site can only do so much to keep you from throwing your money away. You have to meet this site half way, as in reading the information that is provided.

Revise that number. Just got 14 new chicks and 5 turkeys.

Right- whatever is within your realm of "doable" and you don't find yourself doing something clearly deceitful and malicious.
Wrong- doing something deceitful and malicious because someone asked you to.

No one has to do anything, sub, slave, it doesn't matter. If something isn't working for you, walk away from it. It really just takes common sense and knowing what is right for "you".

Look you really honestly need to exercise some common sense on this stuff. It's not rocket science. It's got nothing to do with newbie versus veteran. It's about being able to smell bullshit. Does needing to go to some outside website, creating and paying money to upgrade a bunch of profiles, all so you can have this awesome "woman" (if she is in fact a female) make ANY logical sense to you? Especially if you met her here...on a free site???

Please think logically about things. Otherwise you are an easy mark who just chums the water for the sharks. And you seem like a sweet, albeit pretty naive, guy who is just trying to find his way. Think with the big head

I've got beachfront property in Arizona AND a bridge and tunnel in New York Im selling for pennies on the dollar. Are you interested? I'm a foreign dignitary who wants to send you millions of dollars if you just help me get my country of Suckerborneveryminuteistan to release the funds. Want to help me?

The short answer to this is no, you were mistaken. You are under no obligation to do anything any random person on the internet asks, regardless of how they self-identify on this site.

It is not ridicule the newbie day, it is simply difficult to understand the ease that you were duped.

You are far too uninformed to be looking for a BDSM relationship. Go read one book or attend a munch, or find someone to mentor you and teach you.

If you have no idea what is right and wrong, you are easy prey. So, stop what you are doing, you are not ready to find a dominant. Get a little education under your belt and then see what is out there. If you cannot educate yourself, then you are going to be taken advantage of... every single time... unless you get very, very lucky.

That was a tongue in cheek comment based on lies you'll hear from some less than noble people in the scene. Please don't take it seriously.

omg even a slave can walk away, where do you live, we in the western world are free to walk away from any situation (unless being held captive and even the you can escape eventually if not killed)

so if someone does something you don't like run don't walk run.
and at no stage should you spend money you don't want to

Don't know why but that gave me a chuckle.

OP, a good way to avoid scams is to take things slow and try to attend local events. The second someone asks you to create a profile for them, unless you have conversed with them for some time(weeks or months) and it's part of a kink you have, don't do it. Don't do anything you don't feel comfortable with.

Yes they're are fakes & flakes. But they wouldn't be around if people weren't still paying them. As P.T. Barnum said, there a sucker born every minute.

I wouldn't say trust no one. I would say take the time needed to build trust, which doesn't happen over a few hours or days.

Trust no one. That is definitely going to allow you to succeed. I suggest trying a munch if you can't maneuver the internet. It's not for everyone.

Slow down.

Get educated and attend munches.

You are on FL? Search the group Aurora Illinois Kink and find events in your area to attend.

Listen and learn.

And be prepared for frustration, but that is no different than when looking for vanilla companionship. And that is all you are really doing, looking for compatibility with someone, just with particular interests. Regardless of what role you find yourself identifying with, you are still your own person. You can say no and walk away at any time. Don't let anyone tell you any different. And there will be many that will try to. Arm yourself with knowledge.

And slow down. Remember that are all types of scammers out there. Just because you might learn to identify financial scammers easier, don't forget that there are other types of scammers, people who may not have your best interests in mind when you are trusting your physical safety with them.

Go slow.

Ok, we know you're new to BDSM, but are you new to the internet as well? I'm asking honestly here, not trying to be an ass.

Not just new to the Internet. How many episodes has Dr Phil done on scams? Or the "Catfish" tv show? How many times have the police done PSAs about this? Newspaper articles galore have appeared, the list goes on...
