It's known to work like this: Two girls are sitting at a bar. A guy walks in. They giggle and start caressing each other's hair, cuddle a bit, maybe a peck... the guy thinks "wow... two for one!” He goes over... buys them BOTH a drink. They chat and when it comes time to make his move, he'll ask if they want to come back to his place. Of course one may be a bit tired, or needs to go home because they have to work in the morning. But ONE of them may take him up on the offer. So the guy has been buying all night for 2, and still comes back with one - maybe.
Or in the D/s context: Fem sub attests that she is most certainly BI! Sir! Oh yes... anything for your pleasure. The Dom collars her. They live happily as a twosome until one day the Sir brings home another female. Sub number 1 says "Sir, I know I have enjoyed women in the past (before you met me- in college as an experiment), but since you have taken me with you strong dominance, I no longer crave the touch of a woman. Only YOURS". There ya go... two scenarios of Bi-chic.
