BenevolentM -> RE: How is this not Treason? (3/10/2015 9:12:55 AM)

Let us not forget what happened when another Democrat, a beloved Democrat, former U.S. President Bill Clinton did the same thing that Obama is now trying to do which is to repeat history. The same arguments were made about North Korea and how they will turn around if you just gave them a chance. How many times must the liberals be duped before they realize that they are being duped? So what is it? Is it optimism or is it hallucination?

What did the rightwing Nazi shiteaters do about that during the Bush, Bush, et al administrations?

Answer, not a fucking thing.

ive posted this before about a month ago, here it is again:

a quote by hitler: "We are socialists, we are enemies of today's capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions."

Hitler was named "Man of the Year" in 1938 by Time Magazine. They noted Hitler's anti-capitalistic economic policies:

some of the tenets of the National Socialist German Workers Party Platform:

"We demand that the State shall make it its primary duty to provide a livelihood for its citizens.
"We demand the nationalization of all businesses which have been formed into corporations (trusts).
"We demand profit-sharing in large industrial enterprises.
"We demand the extensive development of insurance for old age.
"We demand the creation and maintenance of a healthy middle class, the immediate communalizing of big department stores,
"The State must consider a thorough reconstruction of our national system of education
"The State must ensure that the nation's health standards…

in short: "To put the whole of this programme into effect, we demand the creation of a strong central state power for the Reich; the unconditional authority of the political central Parliament over the entire Reich and its organizations; and the formation of Corporations based on estate and occupation for the purpose of carrying out the general legislation passed by the Reich in the various German states."

hitler on gun control: "The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms."

hitler and abortion: When the Nazis came to power in 1933 one of the first acts Hitler did was to legalize abortion. By 1935 Germany with 65 million people was the place where over 500,000 abortions were being performed each year.

fascism is a form of totalitarianism where private property doesn't really exist and the power is concentrated in corporations owned and operated by the state.

any of those things sound familiar??

and in case you miss the irony of your "holocaust" point. there is nothing inherently "right" about bigotry, in fact, conservatives and libertarian types are primarily color blind when it comes to race and ethnicity, as opposed to leftists who see pretty everything through that particular prism---and um---its the left who were then and are today, the anti-Semitic crowd.

and oh, found some others:

"We demand a land reform suitable to our national requirements, the passing of a law for the expropriation of land for communal purposes without compensation; the abolition of ground rent, and the prohibition of all speculation in land."

"To put the whole of this programme into effect, we demand the creation of a strong central state power... "

not to mention anti-Semitism.

again, Nazism is a leftists wet dream.

Amen, brother.

The 'point' bounty is raising is not relevant to the topic. Nazi Germany did not have a Senate nor a President. It was not dealing with nuclear weapons development in the Middle East. Nor was it in 2015. If this is bounty's 'best defense' of the GOP....

....It sucks!

I would agree with you in politics you are always sleeping with the devil. It is the choice between a dark cloud and a dark cloud with a silver lining.

There's a common Serb expression that could be the national motto--"Well, at least one of my neighbor's cows is dead."

I guess the Serbs found their silver lining. ISIL thinks it has found its silver lining. We too are going to find our silver lining. The liberals have been mistaken in their belief that if only they made war unpalatable war would end. Wars end when it is unpalatable to your enemy. As such the liberals have it backwards. Making it unpalatable on the home front is pursued as a tactic only because it is the path of least resistance, not because it is the path to victory.

So, due to the massive derailing and stupidity being spewed, we have no answer for the violation of the logan act, and the several brand new righting nazi shiteaters in the house who signed it, meeting with defense contractors for their payoffs today.

Dupe?

Two Republican Presidents. Two Middle East Wars.

Now we have all the Republican hopefuls signing on to this letter. Republicans....WANT....war in the Middle East. They are willing (apparently) to do anything and everything to obtain this war. They want the Iranian hardliners to control things on that side, rather than have 'cooler heads prevailing'. An if they win in 2016, my money is on a third war in the Middle East.

How many US Soldiers will die this time? Be given permanent/long term injuries? How many civilians will perish? How many hundreds of billions will we spent on it?

North Korea understands something that you apparently do not; it doesn't have many good cards in the metaphorical poker match. The nuclear card they do have, they have to play with care. Because if they lose it, they lose any and all hope of existing ten years after that. Iran has one resource the world wants: Oil. With oil, brings them wealth to do other things.

The US President we have right now, understands the surface stuff you and me have access in the public. He understands the layers of politics, religion, culture, and language, that I understand (better than my understanding I will admit). But far more than your understanding of such forces. Below that, he knows stuff neither of us are aware about, but are just as critical.

You want to give the President are hard time? You'll be seen as nothing but an idiot without a clue.
