ORIGINAL: HVF There is already been a discussion ( http://www.collarchat.com/m_91092/tm.htm ) about to make this wonderfull website a paid website. It is a decent site for a free site. It could be brought into the 21st century, but that is a topic for another day. quote:
Hopefully the owner of this website would also reply. Good luck with that. quote:
I'm boring of all the people who write to me and they are no serious but mostly I think they are fakers. *sigh* Fakers? On the Internet? quote:
Examples: After receiving a e-mail, there profile could be not found. To this people I would say: GET A LIFE ! It happens. People getting a life that is. quote:
Another example: when I reply that I would meet them with a webcam and chat on Skype (magic word!) then they never reply. Le gasp. quote:
Therefore I'm sure that are Here more fakers then serious people. Honestly, there is no way to be certain of your claim unless you have written to everyone on this site. quote:
I got an idea to solve this problem. If You wanted to write the first letter to someone that it cost $ 10, only for the first e-mail. Then after the first e-mail, you can reply and have contact so much that you wanted without any payment with this member. I would advice that we pay $ 30 in advance for 3 e-mails and that you can connect with 3 different members ( 10 $ each for the first e-mail ) This is my idea that solve the problem with fakers. How do members and the owner about this idea? So let me get this straight, you believe that charging $10 for each initial contact email will solve this problem? Did you ever think about the fact that scammers make more than that by accident and could afford to pay that and more? Besides that, I talk to a good many members behind the scenes... and there is no way in fucking hell I would pay $10 to send an email.... ever... ever... ever. Ever. Ever. Ever. quote:
Sincerely, Mistress Constancia I have no doubt that you are sincere, and perhaps your heart is even in the right place, but your idea is not going to make a difference. This site goes to a pay scheme, there will be a mass exodus of folks who aren't fake and it will become a ghost town around here. Besides, if they WOULD begin to charge, that would mean that they would have to change a lot of things, like the servers, which are usually powered by starving hamsters. I know that $10 per initial email could buy a lot of hamster food, and perhaps even more little metal wheels for them to run in, but do you really care about their working conditions? Additionally, if they improve the servers, all those hamsters would hit unemployment and, I don't know about you, but there is nothing more unattractive than an out of work rodent. Think about it.
