This just in:

Ted Cruz, one of the loudest critics of Obamacare, will soon be using it for health insurance coverage.

"We will presumably go on the exchange and sign up for health care, and we're in the process of transitioning over to do that," Cruz, a Republican candidate for president, told The Des Moines Register on Tuesday.

Cruz's wife, Heidi, is going on an unpaid leave of absence from her job at Goldman Sachs to join Cruz full time on the campaign trail, Cruz told the Register.

Bloomberg was first to report that Heidi Cruz has taken the leave. CNN noted that Cruz, who has boasted about not needing to receive government health care benefits, would no longer be covered under his wife's health insurance plan.

Cruz confirmed that to the Register.

And thus, being a senator, he is required by law to sign up for Obamacare. Do you think he should have disobeyed the law.

Point of order:

Mr. and Mrs. Cruz are not "required by law to sign up for Obamacare."

They can indeed sign up for coverage through Obamacare.
They also have the option of continuing their current coverage through Mrs. Cruz's employer under COBRA.
They also have the option of obtaining health insurance directly with a private health care insurer.

You are right, the law does not require that senators get it if they lose other insurance, everyone is required to.

The hill is stating that Congress and their staffs are required to get one of the gold plans if they don't already have other insurance. Who am I to argue

Can't help that, but The Hill should be easy to find, if you are truly interested in the truth.
But I will try to find another link so you can apologize for calling me a liar.

slvemike4u -> RE: First to throw his hat in the ring (3/24/2015 8:17:07 PM)

WTF Bama,re-read the post (this is the second time today) I called Cruz a liar about his statements about the ACA.
You really need to follow along and sometimes it is even necessary to connect the dots.....but you don't need to jump shitty every fucking time you misunderstand something.

Don't be holding your breathe for this apology,it will be as about forthcoming as the other one where you went off on a tangent all butt hurt about a perceived insult. You were wrong on that thread and you are wrong here once again

I'm quite sure, after you take a few deep breaths, and read that again,in context, you will apologize to me for lying about me calling you a liar.

The Washington Post which doesn't like Cruz anymore than you do.
Has this, after you go there you have to click once but it points out that he is required to fall back to the employer provided insurance, which is Obamacare.

Read post 122 directed to me and saying to stop lying about Obamacare since you directed it at me I naturally assumed you meant it for me.

I would never really expect an apology from you, that would imply that you are not perfect.

slvemike4u -> RE: First to throw his hat in the ring (3/24/2015 8:27:25 PM)

Lol,Bama this is getting funny.I wasn't the poster that made any assertion as to whether or not Cruz is required to sign up for Obama care(known by the rest of us as the ACA).
That was another poster.....somehow you misinterpreted a post I made around the same time wherein I suggested a good step would be for him(cruz) to stop lying about the law.

That was my only reference to lying in the whole damm thread

See the colored sentence,I know there isn't a question mark there,as there should be...but it is in the form of a question .
I answered the question. The "he" referred to in the question was who?
Cruz ?
Or You ?
That's who I suggested stop lying about the law.
Fuck,it's like taking a child by the hand....
By the way, just to help you follow along, that's post #121

Just to help you the post number is at the bottom of your post not the top, and I was referring to your post number, not mine.

Since you didn't use quote I had no way of knowing what specific statement you were referring to.
