Status: offline 		What is a 'classy femdom' - to you? If you could be the classiest of classiest, given whatever resources or magic there was, what would that look like?

You're not allowed to answer with 'Me - I'm classy by definition', or similar. Please don't argue with me on this: I won't tolerate femdoms arguing with me.

Status: offline 		I looked up the word classy. The definition was "stylish and sophisticated."

I guess that's the best I can do right now, as I haven't really given this thought. I've been called classy in my day, and I don't really get it. I also don't use the term, because it seems entirely arbitrary.

May I ask what your interest in "classy" is?

As used self-referentially, it now means Expensive. You pay, she spends. Extends to High Maintenance generally, which seems to also translate as Low Satisfaction. Not limited to Femdoms, seems the rule on personals ads and sites everywhere. A great red flag! For which I'm very appreciative. Almost as much as for photos of the woman smoking.

I've seen women around who've made me think, 'Ah - that one demands lots and *lots* of money to be spent on her'. 'High maintenance' is a great shorthand. Again, not easy to pin down what gives that impression on first sight.

I think classy is a vastly misused word. So much so, for me- it has lost all meaning when someone says it.

I think this is my problem.

And I think it means less than nothing when it's used self-referentially. I think that in order to be any kind of classy, that you could not choose classy as a self-descriptor.

I could be wrong.

I think it is a British phenomenon! Steve's American fem sub tells us that she doesn't know the difference between a well spoken English voice and a strong accent (I'm so wasted on her!)

I guess I don't even know how to define "sophisticated maturity," "old world elegance" and "modern, progressive mindset" in a way I feel that I could fit.

I am pretty mature. I'll give you that. Not so sure about sophisticated. I'm quite the dork, much of the time. Elegant... I think I'd like to be. But, too much the dork.

I dunno. I don't think of elegant people using swear words and laughing a lot (or actually wearing a 10" dildo outside the house to be a Butt-Pirate for a friend's birthday party... Picture over there <<<<, LOL!) .

As far as my mindset, it's probably pretty progressive in many ways. Not sure about modern... I think there is a lot of things taken for granted by society that I don't even get.

*shakes fits* Damn young kids get off my lawn!

I had guys tell me that I speak "classy" because I use "big" words, or that I have standards, or that I am high maintenance.

Instead of saying I am a high maintenance woman with a love of language who wont fuck them immediately.

Class also connotes higher rank, such as royalty or socio-economic levels.

You know what? I've actually developed the hypothesis that there are such things as *classy facial expressions*. Well, ones that look classy to me, anyhow. Hmm. If I can find illustrations - say, on YouTube, I'll post them here.
