*NOT A REMOTELY SERIOUS THREAD* so not ONE WORD about me not being a twue sub. I am a snarky switch. Get over it :P but yeah... You are damned right I expect my Dom to know how the cooker works. What silly, funny, odd and cheeky and too honest expectations do you have of your partners, aside from all the sensible and reasonable ones. I have a few funny little quirks on my list. Matching socks. I don't think I can submit to a guy that doesn't pair his socks. Its just WRONG. over to you guys... :)

When me and 'er indoors decide to move in, together, we picked out this place. We loved it. At the time we didn't count on there being two other people, coming with us. So, there was me (a forty-nine-year-old male), her (a fifty-one-year-old female), her friend (a forty-one-year-old female) and her friend's daughter (a three-year-old female). I was the *only person in the house to know that toilet seats* (and lids) *are supposed to be DOWN!* That drives me freakin' nuts! Michael

Well, I pair my socks and even roll them. But I don't think I can decide whether the "cooker" is a crock pot, an oven or a stove?

The Man claims he knows how to cook. In 12 years I've yet to see a single instance of it. Except for the grill. And I pair his socks. If I can. If he hasn't lost half the pair yet again.

Every time I sort my socks, I think of a Gorean couple I knew in Iowa. He had her convinced that socks come in a left and right and it was HER responsibility to make sure all his socks were pared up with a left and right sock. I asked her how she told which ones were left and right and she confessed that she had to cheat and sew a bit of red thread in the toe of the right ones and a bit of green thread in the toe of the left ones. Just so she could make sure she had the sock sorting right. I'm so proud of myself that I was able to keep a straight face during this conversation.

He doesn't ever close the cabinet doors. If I walk into the kitchen with them all open at 6am when I leave for work- I passive aggressively slam them all shut as loud as possible. It makes me pretty irrationally mad, but waking him up at 6am ISNT working to cure the behavior. Neither has asking nicely, or gently reminding, so I think I might be mad about it for a while yet...

I don't cook. So he should know how. I have been very lucky that anyone I was with liked cooking. I excel in other areas.
