Okay, we'll go with that as well. From you. Although it was addressed to a different audience.

Might have been addressed to a different audience but it was posted on an open forum....so I took a swing at it.

If you meant it as private correspondence perhaps CS mail would have been a better option ?

We should probably take this to a different thread. (And I apologize for my previous snarkyness.)

I'm for thoughtful problem solving, as opposed to ideological rhetoric. To be fair, the link that you provided is the platform page. I went to the "Ideas" page. Although when I got there, there were vague ideas, and no solutions.

Examples:

Eliminate excessive taxes. Yay!!! I think we all want that. Psst... I have a stock tip for you... "Buy low and sell high"
What's excessive? What does the country need to fund? What are the priorities? How do we move our economy along?

Eliminate the national debt... Yay! What are the fiscal policies to get us there?

Eliminate Deficit Spending... Ummm Well, sure... How about eliminate the NEED for deficit spending by growing the economy? No understanding of the issue, here. Rather, a rhetorical "All deficit spending must be eliminated immediately. "

Lots of rhetoric, and out-of-context quotes by our founding fathers. No solutions offered. Once again, no understanding of the issues.

This looks like a Ted Cruz platform. He can't even understand the issue of net neutrality, let alone the economy.

The truth is, my news isn't filtered. It's just that the Tea Party is a party of idealogical rhetoric. (Not of solutions)

The OP is about facts. Try to keep your eye on the ball.

Well speaking of "facts," the claim that income inequality is responsible for the list of woes in the OP has not been substantiated. The opinion cited presents a hypothetical but questionable case built on some correlations. But where is it shown that income inequality is in fact the actual cause? Where is the evidence that income equality would of necessity make a positive difference?

K.
