Mathew Sheppard was a drug deal gone bad.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_Shepard

At McKinney's November 1998 pretrial hearing, Sergeant Rob Debree testified that McKinney had stated in an interview on October 9 that he and Henderson had identified Shepard as a robbery target and pretended to be gay to lure him out to their truck, and that McKinney had attacked Shepard after Shepard put his hand on McKinney's knee.[27] Detective Ben Fritzen testified that Price stated McKinney told her the violence against Shepard was triggered by how McKinney "[felt] about gays."

Now who's blaming the victim? And ignoring the facts of the case to do it.

Meth for sex that ends is a grisly death IS a drug deal gone bad.

There was a guy that wrote a whole book about it. “The Book of Matt: Hidden Truths About the Murder of Matthew Shepard"

Apparently meth is causing all sorts of violence in the gay scene.

Any religion can be hijacked and used to promote hate and intolerance.

Those same religions can also be ignored when it comes to anything that goes against what people want to believe.

For example, Leviticus law is used to condemn gays, and to treat us as less by many. But many of those same people ignore Leviticus 19:33-34, concerning immigrants.

Some people look to the future and want to advance the nation forward to secure our future, others live in the past embittered with the changes they see happening in the world. You're clearly in the latter camp, and you stand to experience repeated rounds of disappointment as you get older.

Cloudboy, communism and progressivism is old and has failed time and again all over the world. Take...for instance...Baltimore as an example. So, please tell me who continuing that political application into the future will secure anything?

And, ah, tell me how you coming on and insulting people contributes to a discussion of Hillary doing a 180 on immigration. Or, was it your intent to just pop in, insult people and pop back out?

How is Baltimore, an example of communism and progressivism? (And for that matter, what exactly IS progressivism?) Is that the boogie man that Glenn Beck keeps talking about?

Seriously??? You are quoting Allen West?

I know you miss the glory years: 2000--2008. War, recession, layoffs, and foreclosures.

The job growth, stock market surge, lower health care costs have just been an overwhelming burden for you to bear. And, to think, you've got 2016-2024 to crank out more bile, bitterness, and snark day-after-day, week-after-week, month-after-month, and year-after-year for the next 10 years and counting.

The GOP has lost the popular vote in 3 of the last four Presidential elections and the tent keeps getting smaller and smaller. The Wizardry is winning the House and still losing the popular vote --- but those tricks won't work for the Presidency. Your future list of complaints, rants, and upset-ments will be long-long-long.

So saying that white men are most likely to vote a certain way is descrimination? Wow, yeah that's really discriminating. And any other statistic that looks at race and voting habits is also discriminatory? Even if it's true? Cmon man, you can't be this narrow minded on the subject of racism.

What's a stereotype, TK? A stereotype, in and of itself, is racist (provided the stereotype is based on race). You identified the comment as a stereotype, didn't you? Oh... well... you see...

Yup. I do see. Apparently, you don't.

How about Hillary destroying emails (which the law said she couldn't have on her personal computer anyway) after they had been subpoenaed ? I forgot, just fine, she is a Dem

a small aside, but it would be helpful when people are referencing the bible if people understood the difference between the old covenant and the new covenant and the associated difference between the old and new testaments.

but that said, your latter Leviticus quote speaks about treating "not mistreating strangers/sojourners in your land."

do you see that as translating into an open borders policy? and that enforcing immigration laws is somehow tantamount to mistreatment?

Tkman,

You sound like you could have grown up in the old south. So sure that you're in the right and those others are inferior that you don't even see the possibility of you're racism. It's just that those other human you don't see as humans aren't defined by color, they're defined by thought.

Why do you come here? You haven't added anything to the conversation. You just argue and offer hate.

Tkman117 -> RE: Hillarys' 180 On Illegal Immigration (5/9/2015 9:07:34 AM)

LOL, where did I ever say they weren't human? Your sad attempt to make up shit and call me racist is just that; sad. Older white men have statistically been more likely to vote conservative than other demographics. That doesn't make them inferior, it just makes them a demographic like any other. You say that I offer nothing but hate and yet you're the ones who were claiming a few pages back that you don't have to hate to be racist. Seriously, which is it? You can't have it both ways. Either I'm hateful and being racist, or I'm not being hateful and being racist, and yet I've said nothing racist at all but you claim I'm saying they're not human because statistics show that demographic tends to vote conservative. Seriously man, these mental gymnastics are damn impressive if this is the way you need to rationalize your world view that liberals are everything they seek to rise against.

Sure do, but some stereotypes are right, some are wrong. The fact that older white men tend to vote conservative isn't wrong, and is in this case a correct stereotype. I personally dislike stereotypes but I don't deny them when they're proven correct. It's also a stereotype that black people are more likely to be arrested. Is it true? Statistically yes. Do I dislike the stereotype? Sure, but I dont deny it's truth because I don't like it. Now if the reason was BECAUSE they were black, then yes that's racist, but it's also a matter of opinion and isn't included in the statistic. The statistics show that older white men tend to vote conservative. Is it because they're white? No, of course not, there are a lot of factors that play into it, such as their upbringing and personal history. Older white men have a tendency to be more religious, be more dominant towards women, anti-gay, among other qualities. This isn't because they're white, after all, correlation does not equal causation. To assume that their voting habits is caused by their skin colour is racist, to point out the correlation between voting habits and race isn't.

Actually he does sound pretty bright and witty. You would know that if you could see the light. But it is rather dark when your head is up your butt....
