ORIGINAL: joether What they get from FOX 'news', they simply regurgitate it here. An some even try to pass it off as original material. Why do you think most of us have an easy time slamming the bullshit for what it is? Doesn't take to long to get the facts and figure out why the FOX 'news' piece is blatantly full of bullshit. despite my, and others, showing you that what sets fox news apart from all the other stations out there is that it is indeed fair and balanced, you want to continue to believe its a tool for the republican party or something. why don't you actually watch it over a period of time and you will see many of your left wing heroes getting plenty of air time to voice their views. and you will find plenty of regulars who are either moderate in their social political philosophy, or actually very left leaning. let me borrow from bill o'reilly when I say this: wise up. How important is a 'State of the Union' speech to Americas? Pretty important. Its the one time we see 99% of the major players in Washington's elected group in one place. We have the President, Vice President, and most of the cabinet. The Joint Chiefs for the Military. All nine US Supreme Court Justices. And most of the US Congress. Most Americans will either tune into the speech via their TV or by the internet. Every news station worth its weight in gold, airs the speech. Regardless of which party is controlling the White House at the time. Except FOX 'news'. Which is one of primary means of news for the midwest. And its the only means of news for the midwest. Folks out in the midwest are not as tech savy as other parts of the nation. During the most recent State of the Union Speech that President Obama gave to the nation and Congress; What was FOX 'news' airing at the time? If what you say is true, then the answer should be easy, right? I watched the State of the Union Speech. I even flipped through the different news stations to see what they were reporting. That is why I know what the answer is, and you do not. But please, do try your best bullshit routine here.... Sooo...Ohio State, University of Illinois, on and on, have no tec classes to help those poor Midwesterners come into the 20th, let alone the 21st century? Hum, that's a pretty high faluten statement. The Midwest isn't tec savvy. And yet, from what I've heard, FOX always says it reports what the other news sources doesn't, which is how they claim to be fair and balanced. So, what you're saying is that although NBC, CBS and all of the other letter stations report something and FOX doesn't lockstep in line, like all good lefties should be in lockstep with the kool aide pouring crowd, they are verboten and puerile? Actually, I never watch the State of the Union address, from either party. It's just political theater for the masses and I don't agree with your basic premise. Oh wow, that's surprising. Do you have a link to a scale of importance to back up your assertion?
