For those unaware, Barack Obama and Goldman Sachs are practically joined at the hip

You may be right about that, but don't forget Obama's Goldman Sachs ties followed Bush's Goldman Sachs ties. Obama replaced Bush's Goldman Sachs guy (ohhh... just the former CEO of Goldman Sachs - Henry Paulson) with his own Goldman Sachs guy

So, if you are calling out politicians as being joined at the hip with Goldman Sachs, make sure to give Bush equal time :)

Bush is gone, we still have to deal with Obama.

Conservatives and libertarians should learn from this quote. They are repeating things once more and setting themselves up for huge disappoints. Rewind about six years ago. Those on the right were bemoaning what would become the ACA. They tried....ANYTHING....and....EVERYTHING....to remove the bill. And they failed. After that they tried....ANYTHING....and....EVERYTHING....to get rid of it become Americans started learning its good benefits. Now, they are faced with Hillary Clinton. As we have seen in many threads already, the fear of destiny and reality about to become true. They have tried and will continue to do so, trying.....ANYTHING....and...EVERYTHING....to avoid Hillary from becoming the next US President.
And they will fail.
Mr. O'Malley does not have a decent chance. Maybe if Mr. Sanders was the only ticket on the Democrat's side. An it is amusing to watch conservatives and libertarians try to 'prop' Mr. O'Malley up as much as they can. Since if Mrs. Clinton was not in the race, those same conservatives and libertarians would be trying to rip down Mr. O'Malley. The liberals and moderates in this nation are just laughing their asses off! That they can see straight through the piles of bullshit that conservatives and libertarians keep throwing in vain attempts to stop the inevitable.
Would certainly put a new twist on those old 'ladies events with the First Lady' in Washington. Guys get together and do 'Guys Night Out'.

Who is propping O'Malley up? Who is saying O'Malley has a chance? Everyone seems to be saying how O'Malley might alter the campaign of Hilary. That's pretty much acknowledgement that Hilary is the leading candidate. No one is saying good things about O'Malley.

You need to reconnect with reality, Joether.

Reality is, Hillary is the next US President. The question is 'Whom is the VP choice?"

We entertain the right, because the right doesn't have even a half decent opponent from the twenty-seven possible candidates. Though the GOP/TP will try its damnest over the next couple of months to convince people that their pick is 'the right choice'. Most on this forum will fall in line to support such an individual. Which is really sort of sad. Rather than 'sticking to their guns' for the underdog that has no chance; they go with the 'best shot' even if it fucks with their viewpoints on politics.

Reality is a strange thing in politics.

Yeah, no. What Santayana said was, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it" (The Life of Reason, Volume 1). Churchill is supposed to have said, "Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it," but I've never found a source to support the attribution, and if he did say it he was paraphrasing Edmund Burke, who long before Winston was a gleam in his mother's eye said, "Those who don't know history are destined to repeat it."

Reality is you think Hillary is the next president. For the good of the nation we can hope you are wrong. Considering your track record it is a good chance you are. This is what happens when you engage in PRM group think.

Blah, blah, blah. No answer to the question posed.

Joether: Par for the course.

Let me clarify. I am only pointing out how O'Malley (and Sanders) are coming after Hillary and Obama for being what the Own Wall Street Democrats accused Bush of

For out-Bushing Bush

I was never on the side of the Own Wall Street rioters, always thought they were mindless Grubers
