impishlilhellcat -> Bad Boys? (7/16/2006 5:06:14 AM)

Okay so we've all at some point in our lives encounter a "Bad Boy" you know the one your momma always warned you about. The type that is absolutely hawt, evil, and bad right down to the core of their very being. So my question is mostly for the ladies. Describe what a bad boy is to you and what about them really rocks your world. Is there on that got away or one in the future you are dying to explore or re-explore. This doesn't mean the ones that claim to be a bad boy on the net.. We are talking real true bad boys you've met in person and know.

When I was younger, there was something appealing about the "Bad Boy"...but for me personally, it didn't last that long. Maybe it was because they seemed to live life on the edge? Maybe I had no clue as to what I wanted. I think my first experience was more of a rebellion with my parents.

My first and only 'bad boy' was into the early street gangs....ya know, the rednecks vs the preppies, etc...peeling out tires and getting into fights in the parking lot....

I did learn after that I did not want any bad boys.  Deep down, I  always liked the nice guy, the guy who would pick you  flowers from a field or even call you just to say "hi". (and of course, drove normally...lol...and not as if race car driving was his goal in life).

Warmly,
Irish[;)]

Lol thanks Irish... I appreciate the response...

Okay so here's another situation then what about the One who has The  bad boy look and also the bad boy occupation, but you've seen the soft concerned side? Does that appeal more to people than the actual bad boy or girl?

feastie -> RE: Bad Boys? (7/16/2006 6:43:54 AM)

I never went for the bad boys.  Except for this one time...he had waist length wavy hair, beard, mustache, super intelligent, confident, a little bit arrogant, evil, sexy, empathic...

I fell very hard for him

He still falls into the category of someone I'll always love, even if that love has changed.

I could never find one that reminded me of Keifer Sutherland enough.. but I am still looking <grin>

Huh? But I'm sure I'd have remembered you if we had met back then! Oh, OK only waist length, I could sit on mine and it was straight, not wavy [:D]

OTKkindaGirl -> RE: Bad Boys? (7/16/2006 8:37:40 AM)

from a vanilla conservative standpoint (you know the outsiders) wouldn't they consider all of us in this lifestyle "bad girls" and "bad boys"?  are we not the ones that others have been warned against? **wicked gigglez**

That's ok... ever see the Broadway show, "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat?"  My daughter, barely out of high school, was drooling over none other than Donny Osmond!!!!  I had to explain to her that, while he was hot when he (and I) were in junior high school, he's really something of a dweeb.

Back on the subject of bad boys... My first real crush was on a bad boy.  But then he did something that was actually bad and went away for a while.  It cured me of bad boys, permanently.

kittensmailbox -> RE: Bad Boys? (7/16/2006 8:41:13 AM)

SO LOVED THAT BOOK..... if i remember right, i masturbated many many many times to those guys.... Oh yummy....

NakedOnMyChain -> RE: Bad Boys? (7/16/2006 9:01:30 AM)

Oh yeah.  There was one in specific who made me drool a few years back, so I snagged him, shagged him, and let him loose.  Bad boys don't keep very well.

For the most part, though, I was always the proverbial bad girl.  Not so much, anymore.

sleazybutterfly -> RE: Bad Boys? (7/16/2006 9:04:52 AM)

I like more the ones that know they could be bad..but they aren't.  Not sure if that makes sense or not..but it does to me.

I can relate to this.  My daughter (almost 19) is going through her perennial Johnny Depp phase (the Pirates movie).  And her other media heartthrob is Brad Pitt.  And Dad mentioned the other day that both of them are only 7 years younger than her old man....LOL and she flipped.

Of course, her other media heartthrob is Seth Green...NOT the goofy son of Mike Meyers in the "Austin Powers" movies, but the cool kid from Buffy...and that brings us back to "bad boys".

I had a secret fascination with bad boys when I was in high school.  There was a "bad boy" whose locker was next to mine that I had a secret crush on.  He was a poor student, cut classes alot, was suspended several times, but there was something intriguing about him.  He wasn't handsome in the conventional sense, but had long hair and a rugged look.  We were complete opposites, and if I had brought him home, My parents would have KILLED Me.  My friends would have thought I lost My mind.  I'm positive he wasn't interested in Me at all, but he did return My smiles (and he rarely smiled).  A few times we literally bumped into each other getting our books out of our lockers, and that was fun, but nothing ever came of it.

In My twenties I had a few actual encounters with "bad boy" types.  There was one who was extremely attractive, but could not carry on an intelligent conversation to save his life.  He also drank a lot, had his car repossessed and needed rides all the time, tried to borrow money, etc.  I came to the conclusion that no matter what he looked like, he wasn't worth it!  That pretty much cured Me of My fascination with "bad boys" and I seek more stable partners now.

I resemble (cough) that remark!  Growing up where I did,
right across from the barrio, meant there was plenty of trouble
to go around.  Sometimes it was in very attractive packaging.

I will always admire the persons with the wild, rebellious,
independent, passionate nature.  I have learned that it is
best to make sure that they are stable enough to be
responsible in their life while still expressing their
wild side, or "seasoned and experienced" if you like.

And for current movie crushes - Wolverine!

I was 19, he 32...Italian, typical guido, worked out and had religious tattoos all over and kept his cigs in his tshirt sleeve and sounded like a "tough" guy.  Parents freaked BIG time!

shivvy -> RE: Bad Boys? (7/18/2006 3:19:26 AM)

there is one bloke i know called danny, who is most definately a bad boy. he steals cars to joy ride and gets into fights and nics stuff and he's just got sent down for 3 months for a whole long list of "petty" crimes...

i dunno wot it is about him, but we've really got on well since year 8 in school. we've neva been nuffin "official" like bf/gf, coz he's not the type to be tied down (pardon the pun), but there woz just somthing "dangerous" and appealing going with him.[;)]

Mmmmmm....topic after my own heart  *chucklez*

When i was a wee one, i remember hearing that term.  I thought it was just about bad boys being mean to girls.  I grew up and given the way i was raised (3 Marine Brothers who thought their sister should be too *grinz*)  i was always taught to take no shit from anyone, if i lost a fight...my Brothers ensured i would not loose another one.  I clung to strong men, i thrived on them, i still do.
I went through the dating process growing up...wondering why all these guys had no back bone, i used them for my pleasure, walked all over them and got out and hated it.  Why did "I" have to control everything!!!
During this process i finally met this man what was definately termed "Bad Boy".  He came into my life and shook it up.  I have never looked back from there.  I found that the "Bad Boys" that entered into my life were the strong men i had always seeked.  Not until 2001 did i truly find the Man that could take control of me and give me not what i always wanted, but what i always needed.
Thorns = Bad Boy?  Ohhh, you bet your ass He is....and Evil to the very core.  He is the Man i have looked for all my life, and am proud to be called His slave and wife.
