Sanity take my advice:

1 ) Turn off all forms of electronics.
2 ) Get a nice cool glass of ice water (or lemonade if you have it)
3 ) Relax in your favorite chair
4 ) Read that book you have been putting off all this time
5 ) Think nothing about the world beyond the book, your drink, and the setting sun

Your fear and rage will do nothing to fix the problem. If the intelligence is to be believed, ISIS is suffering all sorts of set backs. Which doesnt surprise me, since they pissed off just about everyone, behave like savages, and demand everyone accept their ways as 'truth'. Kind of like what happen to the Klan when the federal government started getting tired of them.

Since, the KKK is to Christianity, what the ISIS is to Islam.

Stand with the good people, Sanity, and suffer no further anxiety from fear!

No, theyre all wearing masks in the photos

I'd suspect because there'd be a concern that otherwise they could be individually identified and later targeted. A distinct possibility if these are specialist anti-terror police.

Hate to break this to you but I was thinking the same thing.

Bama, come on. ISIS, especially, have to date been the most horrifying group to appear since WW2 - and that's been against some really stiff competition for the 'title'. If this French event was an ISIS thing - well, no great surprise.

There's nothing much to say about these people. They want to horrify us, and they are achieving just that. What the feck is there to say about these people? All the superlatives seem kind of lame when applied to them.

Sometimes I think that the word 'terrorist' doesn't cut it any more, re ISIS. Perhaps 'horrorist'? Here in Britain we used to reserve our harshest epithets for the IRA. We'd call them 'animals', 'maniacs' and 'psychopaths'. But these people make the IRA look like a group of urbane gentlemen at a country club.

Jesus, beheading some poor sod, working in a factory in a European country. It's just beyond words.

The Klan tends to be our standard
ISIS is as worse than the IRA and the Klan put together.
Was it Creative Dominate that said the solution for ISIS is a row of crosses from Beirut to Baghdad? ISIS is only human due to a biological technicality.

The point is that Islamic terrorists killed, beheaded a man in France today, left Islamic flags on the fence they placed his decapitated head on. The point is, in Tunisia today 38 people on vacation from Britain were massacred

The point is, ISIS bombed a Mosque in Kuwait today, killing 25 and undoubtedly maiming many more

Your post is full of shit, as you would have known if you had bothered to read your own fucking link.

The attack in France wasnt "They" it was one guy. he left two banners
Five of the dead were from Britain, although the figure could rise, not 38 as you claimed.

I do find American right wingers a tad baffling, Bama. Today I read on Facebook that there's a magnificent statue of Nathan Bedford Forrest, noted slaver and allegedly first Grand Wizard of the KKK, in a park in the middle of a mainly black area in Memphis.

I can damned well absolutely assure you that there are no statues of IRA terrorists anywhere in the UK.

Forrest was the first leader of the Klan and disavowed it when it turned racist. I don't blame you for not knowing that, most Americans don't. Also I can pretty much assure you the statue and the park have been there longer than the black neighborhood. What he founded was a group to fight the excesses of reconstruction( a misnomer if there ever was one).
Guy Fawkes anyone?

I've read and heard that Forest left the Klan when it became too violent for him. The Klan's very genesis was racist.

Well Peon that could be because you see us as being monolithic in thought.

Wrong an idea perpetuated by the fact that the carpetbaggers set blacks up as fall guys for their deeds.

Dude,.. if they can terrify you like that, then they have already won.. dont you think terrifying people (even those on the other side of the world) is their goal?

With the Second Amendment and a Stand Your Ground law on my side, I'm not terrified.

I probably would've already shit myself if I were living in France though.

But what's the solution?

But what's the solution?

They will keep it up till one of three things happen

A The rest of the world accepts their viewpoint.
B The rest of the world is dead.
or

C The rest of the world decides to quit messing around and deal with them according to their rules.

I agree, mostly. But this is extremely complicated.

We're fighting ideologies, not an established government that we know of. So how do we actually win?

If it was easy anyone could do it.
one no more mister nice guy
two they have established lands that they control, large parts of Syria and Iraq. good place to start.
three Give the Kurds lots of weapons, they won't run away and let ISIS have them, I know they aren't nice people but compared to ISIS they are saints.
four Demonstrate that it is much healthier to help us that to help them. If you want to be "neutral" don't whine to us when they start killing you
five No sanctuaries I don't care if you hide behind the Vatican, we will hunt you down and kill you.
six Ignore our people who whine about how evil we are
seven give the military their job and get the hell out of the way, something we haven't done since WWII
eight No moral equivalence hammer them and the peanut gallery day and night as to why our way of life is better than theirs.
