No. Just because many will do penetration for money, does not mean that they have to even if paid. They control what goes on in the show, after all. Their cam, their rules.

In terms of moral and social status, which is really what this is about, there's a continuum from street prostitutes right 'up' to certain Hollywood actresses, all of whom make most if not all of their money from servicing men's sexual desires in one way or another. These days, I don't distinguish, and don't care. If they don't want to call themselves prostitutes: fine. If they do: surprising, but also fine. Myself, I'd avoid using the term basically because it feels rude. YMMV.

I didn't have to do anything with anybody, I controlled what went on, and even if a deal had been made (hell even midway through the act) if I changed my mind, that was that. The room I (higher end) room I rented to work had a panic button on several locations, and a 24/7 security guard that I never had to use, dispite several times backing out at various stages for various reasons. I do not have anything negative associated with the term prostitute. Other than food and water, it is one of the oldest bartering commodities we know of. Although the strict definition of prostitute is "sexual intercourse, usually in exchange for money", the law considers a "blow job, in exchange for money", a "hand job in exchange for money" and etc, all to fall under prostitution. So in my mind, a woman engaging in sex acts for money is a prostitute... whether that is self penetration, sex on camera or dressing up like a nun and laying very, very still. I consider all adult industry service providers like escorts, cam girls, phone sex girls, porn stars, hookers, certified sexual suragates and even pro-dommes to be sex workers. Because they are selling sex in one form or another. What do you call a sex sex worker other than employed?

I agree with you , I see a commonality with all of them, they are servicing sexual desire for money. Whether that's with direct contact or online masturbation it amounts to the same thing.

For example, Years ago, when a beautiful woman lived with me, I paid rent, utilities, took her out to dinner ... and slept with her. Not a whole lot different, in my mind, than any "in-person" and "real life" encounter. But that is where I draw the line. Web Cam and Sexually explicit interaction, without REAL LIFE interaction ... is something I despise. Call it prostitution or Fin Dom ... In my view it is a despicable thing ... when there is no real life interaction.
