Yes they did, one was quoted as pointing out to a potential looter that he would shoot the first one to attack the store. All four of them had guns.

They were only armed if you count AR-15s as weapons.

If the army would allow recruiters to be able to defend themselves nothing like this would happen.
That would seem to be the solution, or just deciding that recruiters are expendable.

Putting recruiters in a position to defend themselves should put an end to this sort of thing.

On page one I asked for a sane reason not to arm recruiters, and haven't gotten one good reason yet.

Status: offline 		Hell, that's easy. I certainly wouldn't oppose arming them, but carrying can also make them targets.

Yeah, I get here they were targets anyway. But that's one possible reason.
