I almost can't believe it is I who is doing this, but ...

Fair dues to the anti-Christ (Clinton). She had to know that Baier wasn't going to be tossing up too many "meatballs, right down the heart of the plate", but she showed up, anyway.

I wonder if it was because she realized that Trump's Liberal past and his popularity on Fox News Channel meant that there might be some votes for her to proselytize there?

I wonder if sanders had agreed first and there was a tremendous amount of pressure in that regard?

She is fighting the [apparently correct] perception that the DNC leadership is trying to tilt the field so that she wins no matter what.

Damage control.

It's why I'm leaving the Democrats after the primary [and I doubt I'm the only one].

The part in red is absolutely correct. As far as pressure? I'm going to have to guess that her people were probably whispering in her ear along the lines of: "Remember how much heat Trump got for skipping that one debate? Do you want people saying that you're not as tough as Sanders?"

Whether or not that weighed heavily in her decision? Who the hell knows. I can't pretend to know what goes on in her mind. I do know that she doesn't necessarily worship Satan. I'm pretty sure he worships her .

I saw it as both encouraging and frustrating. encouraging from the perspective of evidence of progress being made; frustrating from the perspective of that even though his testimony is leading to progress, we're still in this seemingly interminable position of being on the outside looking in and not seeing as much as we need or would like to be.
