http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/jon-stewart-mike-huckabee-oven-door_55b736cce4b0224d8833bcdf?

Jon Stewart is known for his biting satirical wit, but on Monday night's "Daily Show" he managed to bite his tongue when it came to GOP presidential candidate and frequent target Mike Huckabee.

Huckabee had said the nuclear deal with Iran would send Israelis to "the door of the oven," comparing the agreement to the Holocaust. Rather than tear apart Huckabee's outrageous comments, which have been denounced by numerous Jewish organizations, including several that oppose the deal, Stewart reacted with a series of gestures and sounds.

He also found time to react -- again, wordlessly -- to some of Huckabee's other recent offensive comments, from his verbal attack on Beyonce to his claim that he would've have pretended he was a female so he could shower with girls in high school.

video clip on site, or at the daily show website

Here is the ....comment in question...from Huckabees facebook page...26th of july

cant see your post but nevertheless:

in regards to Neville chamberlain returning from meeting with hitler and declaring "peace in our time"---euphemistically speaking, and now in retrospect, could it be rightly said that deal played a part in "delivering the jews to the ovens?"

if that is true...and in a handful of years iran makes good on their promise to destroy Israel, where will all the Huckabee bashing be then? (put another way, what in the agreement helps to assuage the fear Israel has of iran attacking them?)

if in a handful of years iran does not make good on their promise, then will it be because people wise up to the threat and actually do something about it, in which case, Huckabee is at worst, harmless, or at best, vindicated.

Those saying that the repeated pledges by Iran to exterminate Israel to be just talk sound like the people who said the same thing about Hitler.

Yeah, lets consider existentialism as an underpinning of the founding of the country..............

Israel has nuclear weapons, Iran does not. They will not get. Nobody is going to destroy Israel. We load them up with Billions of war materiel and money every year, and Egypt only slightly less, cuz its comical to watch them two fight.

in large part, my very point...

and you would think that mature people with a sense of history might engage in that very conversation---as opposed to anything else they are doing.

In even larger point, hysterical slobbering fantasy. Hitler never vowed to exterminate Iran or Israel. Iran became a country in 1935, and Israel in 1949 or so. So, its funny that it should remind you of anything so fucking stupid.

Now, Bushes invasion under false pretenses sort of reminds me of Hitlers invasion of the Sudentenland under false pretenses, so Rightwingers remind me of Hitler..............but you see.............there is a causal connection there.

First you need mature people with a sense of history.
I knew that was your point, I was agreeing with you.

Well, since you two can see each other, you can be proud of your conjoined statesmanship and laser like perception of untutored jingo and slogan in the American low information morons, but the people with the sense of history stand outside you, invisible, laughing at your stupid shit.

I actually cringe at what so many (candidates) on the right say but also kinda viscerally enjoy how they tarnish the brand.

With each passing day, these pronouncements make Hillary's email fiasco...ever so much more meaningless.

Because, of course, Clintons are not bound by law.
So does this mean that you actually believe that Iran has not intention of exterminating Israel? You would have to believe that to make the statement you just did.
Or is it that you don't see that as a bad thing?

Not only is this offensive, it is also total bollocks. It is akin to my suggesting the US were "delivering the jews to the ovens" for not getting involved in 1938

Would you rather Iran didnt negotiate at all, because that would be way more dangerous.

The point that engaging Iran more in the world economy enables local moderates and general economic forces more voice and eventual influence seems to have escaped many. The number of important strategic relationships the US and EU have with countries now undermining Iran sanctions leads to the conclusion any inspections and oversight is better than none. The treaty may also hold Arabia's corrupt leadership's feet to the fire to stop living delusional lives of the mega rich and start actually competing with Iran in developing a modern country and economy. The source of much of Islamic fundamentalism/Jihad is at least as much in the Arabian madrasas as in the Ayatollahs of Iran.
Nobody seems happy with the results of US military adventures. What's left besides diplomacy?

Leftists are only unhinged over Huckabees remark because Huckabee is exactly spot on. Nothing hurts more than the truth. The Iranians openly boast about their plans to nuke Israel, and they have been mocking Obama for being so stupid as to trust them and agree to such a shitty deal. Theyre even keeping the Americans they are holding! And t.he verification in the treaty (which hands Iran the bomb after a few years anyway) isnt even good enough to be called a joke.
,
I proved the other day that HuffPo is nothing but a propaganda rag. And Jon Stewart and Barack Obama? They suck each others assholes

You did NOT prove anything the other day...
When Cruz was discussing the supreme courts decision, he wasnt talking about the SCOTUS obamacare decision, he was discussing the gay marriage decision., THe headline was....Ted Cruz Calls Gay Marriage Ruling The 'Very Definition Of Tyranny'
lets break this down for you....
when something is in quotes, it means ONLY those were the words that were spoken, (Very Definition Of Tyranny) later proved by the link to the vid and the transcript.
THe fact is that he was discussing the marriage ruling.

Huckabee is disgusting more than leftists...
the only people he isnt disgusting is warmongers and trumps base( racists, misogynists, religious freaks and other assorted assholes.
its now a race to the bottom.
not that it had far to go..
what a show its gonna be... the very worst america has to offer.

The only race to the bottom involves Obamas winking and nodding to ISIS' mass murders, while everyone pretends thats okay. Obamas winking and nodding to Iran, while everyone pretends thats okay. Obamas winking and nodding to the illegal hordes of La Raza invaders that are overrunning the border, while everyone pretends thats okay.

On and on.
