Not a word, but in the initial email telling how he would like to slam me against the wall and start feeling me up or a sub/slave telling me that he has to be ordered to do 'this'. I don't go for brutal attacks or do me males.

I love that word! It's so much fun to say! I just said "discombobulated" the other day and I'm still smiling.

"Worthless". Why would I want someone who is worthless?

I'm getting a kick out of this thread. My favorite so far is Wayward5oul's answer "Sydney"

My eyes roll all the way to the back of my head when I see that. It doesn't matter what the rest of the profile says. I'm outta there.

... a potential partner, in his/her profile, what would it be?

Me, it's the word 'bubbly'. I do not *do* "bubbly". I never, ever want anyone who is "bubbly" in my life. As far as I am concerned, all "bubbly" people should be lined up against the nearest wall and shot.

Bubbly's fine though, Peon. I like lively women.

The use of "lol" in almost every sentence; certainly, every paragraph.

Not so much a word but someone that uses 3rd person speech drives me insane. Especially if they are referring to themselves as "it". Text speak is also a pet peeve. Discrete for discreet, and peek for pique just gives me reason to bypass to the next message.

I hate discreet though. Ugh!

Dang, I'm bubbly and I thought you adored me. Sigh...

I like that there are limits on hate words for gay people, religions, races, etc...
and when the human race evolves, these woman-hating words will be thrown into the same archaic hate pile as say, "the n word."

Bitch
Whore
Slut
Cunt
Piece

The list goes on.

My objection isn't to the private use of any word as an expression of intimacy, between those whom have agreed to that language. People enjoy literally throwing feces at each other, too - whatever floats their boat, but when they throw feces in a public space where consent was not granted to be exposed to said shit, clearly there's a problem. I simply find those whom use such hateful terms in public spaces or in public forums to be uninformed, backwards and/or pathologically insecure.

Note - Both women and men engage in such hateful language. Consider this:

- there was a time when the n word was common usage "Everyone says it"
- softer forms of hate like "boy" eased that transition in the cultural mind
- in retrospect, both were shameful and hateful
- some overseers were Black and they used the n word against others of their own race
- women using hate language doesn't make it "okay" it just makes them overseers of male supremacy

* I used the curse word, "shit" in this post, which is crude, crass and low-brow but it's a term devoid of hate.

Just to say: I like people who actually *are* "bubbly" - I just can't stand the word being used. I suppose it's like people who say that they have a 'GSOH' - they generally don't have a great sense of humour - they just have a grating sense of humour.

Oh gawd. Oh gawd .... That word, 'discreet'.

I once used that. I will never, ever use it again.

Many moons ago I talked of visiting the USA to meet up with a female friend I'd met here on CM. I asked her to be 'discreet', because I knew I couldn't go all around the USA to meet everyone I wanted to meet and to whom I'd chatted at length here on CM. I didn't want to upset anyone. And said friend, the one to whose home I wanted to travel, really *was* just a friend.

Christ, did she pounce on that word 'discreet'. Instantly, I became some tart who wanted to shag his way around America. I probably had a partner here, too (and she checked - and was proud to *tell* me she'd checked, as well). Men so often lie about the fact that they're married, I learned, in a very, very big way .... Yep, OK, I get that.

Christ on a giraffe, I'd know better than to use that word 'discreet' ever again. I've met and got to know lots of Americans on CM, most of them women, and I'd love to visit all of them. But I would never be able to do that. I don't have the time nor the money. America is a *very* big place. So how would I handle it? I think I'd just visit those people who I *know* would understand, and would be discreet about my visiting, without my ever having to ask for such discretion.
