But Seattle has living wages, the ever so wanted 15 whole dollars an hour, and people are taking hour cuts, asking to work less so they can stay on assistance.

HOW is better wages getting people out of poverty exactly?

There should be some sort of grace period between being over the limit to receive benefits and having benefits terminated. Especially with such a drastic change in the community.

Even doubling an employee's wages doesn't fix everything in a week or a month.

So they should make an outragous amount for work a trained monkey can do....and still be given welfare?

What about the people making 11 dollars an hour now that dont get assistance but magically can do things like pay rent and put food on the table? Why cant the people at 15 an hour make it?

Why do you think a trained monkey can take care of someone who is terminally ill?

I believe that was the point...that those low wage jobs are not putting enough food on the table thus the need for welfare (U.S. taxpayers)to subsidize the employers and thus take up the slack

If anyone knows something about trying to torpedo someones campaign, its Candy Crowley

Crowley: Why Obama Is Torpedoing Hillary Clinton[

Talk about someone with a wrong first name... She should seriously consider changing it to "Dog Chew Toy" or something more fitting, like that
