Trump may still go independent. (run as)

I hope he's pissed at the repubs because that would be a godsend for the dems and likely put Hillary the white house.

Unless you realize that Trump basically admitted to buying access to politicians, including Hillary. In which case both of them should be under investigation.

I don't think getting someone to go to a wedding is against the law.

Big businesses always buy access to politicians, worldwide. Trumps just taking it a step further and trying to skip the middleman.

On donating to several Democratic candidates and supporting liberal policies in the past:

"If I ask them, if I need them, you know, most of the people on this stage I've given to, just so you understand, a lot of money. I will tell you that our system is broken. I gave to many people, before this, before two months ago, I was a businessman. I give to everybody. When they call, I give. And do you know what? When I need something from them two years later, three years later, I call them, they are there for me."

On what he got in return for donating to Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi:

"Well, I'll tell you what, with Hillary Clinton, I said be at my wedding and she came to my wedding. You know why? She didn't have a choice because I gave. I gave to a foundation that, frankly, that foundation is supposed to do good. I didn't know her money would be used on private jets going all over the world. It was."

I saw the debates, I remember the comment. I also suspect that Trump stayed inside the law, just. Of the 17 Republicans running Trump is, for me in a big tie for about 10th place. I have no intention of voting for him, but no one I named would be acceptable to you.

last night chris Wallace (and megyn Kelly) mentioned that 24 million people tuned into the prime time event. it was the largest watched non-sporting event in cable tv history.

Many of us watched it not expecting or believing anything of real substance would take place. We watched it for the entertainment value. Laughing our asses off at the hypocrisy. At the chicken hawks talking about Iran. Blaming Obama and Clinton on anything. Pushing fear topics, since anything else wouldn't register with the limited brain capacities of conservatives. The GOP/TP's 'stars' looked quiet, shy, timid, and without a clue. Trump beat down everyone, because he knew he's in the #1 spot.

It was just damn funny to watch!

the clown show was exactly that.
The only way you could watch the debate was thru the fox station, or a cable account, it wasnt being broadcast anywhere online outside fox, I know a lot of canadians and english listened to the radio broadcast, and watched the tiny screen of the debate (did we count as two viewers each?).
It was the formation of the 10 "top" right wing idiots in a tightly wound show that showed 24 million just what they wanted to see.
Either their heroes spouting their idiocy or their counterparts watching for the bullshit....there was idiocy, lies and ugliness abounding.
Its a shame the repubs forget that women vote.
Cruz, Rubio and whats the other useless tit, oh, Paul, were pitiful, the only one that came out with any couth apart from Jeb was Kasich, and thats so funny
Carly ..meh she did better than the other kids table collective, but when she likes to think of herself as the murican thatcher...she needs committed.
Trump was hysterical.with his misogyny and his bombastic twittery. His attempt to implicate the others into being bought by him. they so quickly had to turn it to hilary.... was hilarious
I said when trump announced his run, that he would end up as a third party candidate...they say he won the show....he did...but its a shame it took so long to piss off the smarter league of his supporters.
Of course, people like him, his base, his supporters are exactly like him...not fit for human consumption stood out really well.

White guilt? Cuz JFK royally fucked up with the Bay of Pigs invasion? "Only communist government in the Western Hemisphere"? "Political refugees"? "The sharks will probably get them before they get here"?
I dunno. Pick one.
But tell me that there's a difference between the reasons for a Cuban family braving the trip to the US and a Venezuelan family, or Mexican family, or Chilean, or Nicaraguan.
Or tell me that you can prove none of the Cuban exiles have any sort of criminal past when they get here, possibly including things we'd consider terrorist activity.

ORIGINAL: JVoV
Anyway, my point in bringing up the difference for Cuban immigrants is that it seems quite hypocritical for say Rubio & Cruz to discuss illegal immigrants when the policies are different for Cubans than other Latin Americans.

Actually, it's fantastic for them to discuss it. It will highlight the differences in the rules, and might lead to a more uniform immigration policy. Talking about immigration during the GOP debates, or on the campaign trail is good, because it just might lead to a better policy.

One of two things happened, you watched a different debate than I did.
Or you decided what you were going to see before it started and commented accordingly. Since you do that so often on here I am inclined to think that is what happened. Keep in mind that disagreeing with you and not having a clue are not the same thing.

LOL thats covered in Sarcasm 4-05...in kindergarten for brits DS:)
SOmebody asked how other people had seen it.. outside the US

This is from a brit commentator at the following site
quote:

Donald Trump feared lost after disappearing up his own arse

donald Trump feared lost
Medical experts in the United States are trying to coax Donald Trump out of his own arse after he vanished up inside it during a televised debate last night.

Witnesses described how, during a lengthy rant about how great he is, Trump was slowly sucked up by his own anus with a repulsive slurping noise.

All that remained was a small pink ring on the cushion of his chair, which would occasionally shout ‘I’m a winner!’

“I’d say it’s shocking, but nobody was actually all that surprised”, an eyewitness told us.

“It was only a matter of time, really.”

Doctors tried to encourage Trump to emerge by dangling a piece of cheese in front of the orifice, but it was Monterey Jack which the varyingly-wealthy billionaire said sounded ‘suspiciously Mexican’.

Trump has gained in the polls overnight, with many Americans saying that an angry pink ring on a cushion is what they want from a president.

Reports suggest that experts in the disorder from Britain are flying out to assist, following their experience of treating Nigel Farage with a similar complaint in 2013.

continues to be amazing (and pathetically sad) doesn't it? I keep wishing he would just stick to his blog and the adoring sycophants there because his self esteem is so incredibly low, all he does here is poison the well like crazy. its precisely the type of post(er) I was hoping to avoid in this thread.

if its Trump donating to charitable causes, he is the stingiest p*ick alive.. he wants at least 3 times back in value than what he "donated".. I knew that years ago when watching his Apprentice show episode for some charity.. i looked at what money, etc he gave and he milked that for all the free publicity he could.. I am not the only person that has noticed just how uncharitable his charitable giving actually is.. after all, he says he is worth 10 billion..
