I don't doubt that Bernie is the best candidate to push for legal reforms, but, and I think this is true of all candidates, let's see some plans. Don't just give us the rhetoric, show us a real proposal so that we can see that our priorities are reflected in your campaign.

I think people are too smart to fall for another "Hope & Change" campaign when it's more "I HOPE he has a plan".

It could have been handled better, but not without looking staged.

As far as I can tell, Bernie is pro-equality on all fronts. If he could have come out, shaken the protesters hand, and offered any sort of a plan to address her concerns, even in a vague way, it would show this.

I hope that he's better prepared for the next interruption, because it will likely happen.

It seems that the protest was directed against "white Seattle progressives in general," although if it's a local problem in Seattle, I can't see how they would hold Sanders personally responsible for that. Sanders is from Vermont, not Seattle. I don't know if white progressives in Seattle are useless - or if they're considered any worse than white conservatives in Seattle. The whole thing seems rather ludicrous all the way around.

They all share the unforgivable taint of whiteness and are therefore de facto "white supremacists" (same link).

It's an open question as to whether the people who disrupted the Sanders event last night were actually part of BlackLivesMatter, or just randos pretending to be part of it. Either way, this simple fact remains: the actual BlackLivesMatter activists have not disrupted a single Hillary event. Nor have they disrupted any GOP events, even though there have been dozens of them.

The excuses that people make for this fact are pathetic. "Well, the GOP aren't going to listen to us anyway!" Really? Well, they have full control of Congress and over 30 state legislatures. So, if your strategy is to annoy the people who agree with you, you are not aiming very high.

As for Hillary, I don't need to explain to anyone that Hillary has a much worse record on civil rights and black issues than Bernie. Do your own homework. It's no secret that I support Bernie, but I will support whoever the nominee is. But for god's sake, at least have informed opinions about shit.

Bernie's events are open to the public. Hillary's are not. So Bernie is being punished for this? But seriously, what is stopping BLM activists from finding Hillary? She literally has a parade of reporters chasing her to all her private events. It's not like her schedule is classified information or something.

I am not going to seriously entertain any conspiracy theories about BLM activists being Hillary plants. But I don't blame anyone for thinking that, based on how BLM's current tactics. Hillary is loving this. I mean, think about it. A multi-millionaire white, former first lady gets to watch as people fantasize about the old socialist Jew being the real racist.
