Which would you be out? Money, in an agreed upon transaction, or emotions in a free-for-all?

It grows on me. Clothing, food, money ... I wouldn't have let the dear god mess with that just a year ago.
That's why I say "vulnerable". Normally I'm quite able to defend myself and provide for myself. When it comes to submitting to my master the first term of business is that I will not defend myself in any way (I have a sharp mind, an even sharper tongue and a decent right straight.)
As they say, your mileage may vary. But, as I said before, many aspiring submissives think that you can't learn to swim unless going into the water. And then they dive head first into an old swimming-pool in which there isn't any.

Oh? So you are saying that Collarspace.com is permitting this soliciting of sex industry workers? Because if that's the case then I think the users should be made aware of the intentions of this site. I personally dont want to be a member of a website that pretends to be a place for people with shared interests can connect and is really just a vehicle for gathering leads on potential customers for sex industry workers. You know, those are two very different things and collarspace.com should not tricking people into being bombarded by solicitors.

So the problem still lies... Indeed you are correct and that is precisely what I wanted to get at. Why is collarspace.com permitting it? Why then is the sites intention so misleading? Who likes being tricked like that?

Because it couldn't possibly serve both functions? Let people connect with and without money?

Face it, princess, the site does not exist for your sole pleasure. Ignore the profiles that don't suit your needs, or quit.

Beat collarspace for displaying accented characters in Numeric Character Reference form :)

OP is very cute, by the way.

ladiespunchbag -> RE: ProDom and FinDom. Why are they allowed on this site? (8/24/2015 7:35:18 AM)

I think the best answer to this would be for the site to have a separate category for pro dommes/subs and financial. A lot of doms/dommes don't make it clear they want cash till after they have been contacted. This would make CS more user friendly, and everyone clear on what is around.

Can we put all the men who dont want a relationship into one category??
What about men who just want their fetishes met with a side of free sex?

DannyIsNotWelcom -> RE: ProDom and FinDom. Why are they allowed on this site? (8/24/2015 9:02:44 AM)

Why not make a whole new site for that? Clean-my-house-wash-my-dishes-give-me-all-your-money-and-be-laughed-on-your-gullibility-because-thats-what-you-want-and-deserve.com

Or perhaps shorter give-everything-and-get-nothing.com

Or even shorter and toll free 0800-dialanasshole

I have tried hard and long to not be judgmental but nobody can tell me that this is right.

ElegantSupremacy -> RE: ProDom and FinDom. Why are they allowed on this site? (8/24/2015 9:23:11 AM)

How about a category called "whiny little complaining shits"? From what I've seen, that group would fill up pretty quickly. To ALL of you complaining bitches I say, why are you still here? If collarspace is full of nothing but fakes, phonies, scammers, hustlers, pro dommes and findommes why are you here? Are you that desperate that in a world of shit you hope to find that one nugget of gold? And what makes you believe that the golden nugget would want you? Do you honestly believe that these rare gems seek complaining lil bitches? Pick up your pants or panties and enjoy this site or leave it. While Im not Pro Dominatrix or even a findomme, (the latter of which I think is a scam) I know many of them and all are wonderful people. If you happen not to like them don't talk to them. If they contact you, block them. The reason that there are so many professionals is that there is a need for them. If there wasn't a need for they wouldn't waste their time here.

COLLARSPACE Love it or leave it.

Oh good grief.

If anyone here is being "tricked" then they're an idiot. Perhaps a more appropriate thread would have been "Whiners and Dimwits. Why are they allowed on the net?"

Is that all you can do? You slut, exploiter, spawn of the antichrist, call me a whiny complaining shit? You narcissistic self-serving piece of scum, you are not worthy to suck my master's socks dry and I mean the ones he wore three weeks in a row during soccer training.

samantharenee812 -> RE: ProDom and FinDom. Why are they allowed on this site? (8/24/2015 1:20:56 PM)

Tsk tsk. Someone has some very radical views on sex workers. Why does it matter so much to you? All of my subs willingly give up their money to hold my attention, and in turn we have meaningful conversations, we know each other on a deep level and we're friends.
It sort of goes both ways. Why should I give it to you for free, if I can get paid for me? Why do YOU deserve to get services free, but I DON'T deserve to get paid? Do you see what I mean? If I have a lot to offer, I'm not going to let it go to waste by the multitude of people who are in my inbox everyday. If I can make a profit and form a mental bond with my subbies, then I'm going to. :)

Do that and you'll still have people who don't make that distinction clear until after posting. There are people who will actively pursue loopholes and tricks to get what they want and that's not the fault of any site, but the fault of the individuals exploiting people and on occasion the people who fall for the tricks because they'll do anything to get laid.

How about we just keep talking to people and make our own choices? And not rely on a nanny to do our matchmaking for us for free?

I don't support the nastiness of dannyisnotwelcom. However I do see a VAST distinction in the views of people who practice bdsm and D/s as a lifestyle and personal orientation versus people doing this for money. This site used to be primarily discussions about bdsm as a lifestyle choice, not about making a buck and soliciting business via the threads. I don't care about what women who are working this site for money think about anything. And the posters who wrote about their non-professional views and experiences are fast disappearing or gone. For this reason alone I would love to see the pros get their own section(s).

ResidentSadist -> RE: ProDom and FinDom. Why are they allowed on this site? (8/24/2015 2:41:09 PM)

A hooker logs in every 4 minutes. Management isn't going to stop them or charge them to advertise here.

I asked the same TOS questions about 6 years when the influx began. There are several sections of the TOS that prohibit soliciting of any kind. However, the TOS also prevents gathering personal information, like exchanging phone numbers, outside email or addresses. That would make it rather hard to actually date someone wouldn't it?

A few years later I was asked to do a traffic report. I found a plethora of hooker profiles with hourly rates, outcall and incall rates, phone numbers, email etc. I did that traffic survey in 2011 and found that a unique sex worker profile logs in every 4 minutes. In a business plan outline, this is one of the many suggestions I made to the owner (he never replied):

Collarme.com has built in premium subscriber market
"Last year, I earned around 24k from being pro. I'd say about 4k came from collarme."
Quote from: -=Pro Dommes, how much business does CM generate for you?=-

Besides all the other benefits of premium membership, I think there is a built in subscriber base that already advertise their adult service businesses in their profiles. Most other sites that handle professional adult services profiles charge a fee for professional listings, one of the most popular, escorts.com is charging $65.00/mo.

Collarme.com has more escorts with published rates, phone numbers and links to their reviews on other esocrt listing pay sites than I can count. Without incorporating the numerous other keywords for pros, there are over 700 "financial Dommes" that logged in the past 30 days. 350 of then have been actively maintaining their presence daily.

700 x $65.00 (escorts.com fee) = $45,500.00/mo. I think the pros will pay for advertising listings in their profiles on CollarMe. If Collarme.com started enforcing their TOS but offered a business listing option with premium membersghip, I think you could create a faithful, non diminishing, reoccurring monthly premium subscriber base. A simple bot could maintain the TOS, screen and flag profiles for keywords like "financial", "blackmail", "session" and dollar signs "$", "escort" etc. Human review could handle flags.

I know just as many dominants taken advantage of as submissives, for the sake of "love" and other tender emotions.

The submissives weren't really submissives and didn't do as they were told? I shudder at the thought! Terrible!
